Chapter 15: Past Memories- Serpent Nightmare

Also I suck at battle scenes, so please understand it's not very good. Also I'm sorry Kate, but Flora isn't going to be in the battle scene. Any way, I hope you like this special chapter!

Rogue's pov

"That was fun!" Sting yelled, drenched from water.

It was pouring outside, and we just finished a mission.

"I wouldn't call it 'fun' if we had to fight a monster 10 times the size of us," I answered.

"But we defeated him though right?!"

Sting laughed, as I sighed.

"Sometimes I think you're more childish than your sister."

He glared at me.

"If you insult Gem again, I'll-

"Alright, alright!" I yelled, raising my hands up in defeat.

Sting smiled in victory.

"Rogue! Your client just called! You have another mission!" I heard Ashly yell from acrossed the room.

"Already?"

"But we just got back," Sting said, as we both walked over to her.

"He said it was an emergency," She answered.

I nodded.

"Tell him I'm on my way."

I turned around, and was about to walk away, when Sting stopped me.

"If it's an emergency let me go with you."

I looked at him, and smiled softly.

"I don't need any help Sting. I don't want you to steal the spotlight."

And with that I walked away.

I stood outside a large mansion in a very rich town. I never bothered learning the name of the town, since I was only here for the mission. Dumb huh? I opened the huge black gates and went into the mansion. A man with chestnut brown hair and brown eyes was sitting at a desk, drinking coffee, when I walked in.

"Ah Rogue, you're here," Said the man, as he put his coffee down.

"What's the emergency Mr. Lawson?" I asked.

"There is a Dark Guild here."

"Dark Guild?"

He nodded.

"The guild's name is called Serpent Nightmare. They are torturing all the people here, and stealing their money."

"They sound like ordinary bandits," I said walking away.

"Rogue wait!" I heard him yell, but I was already gone.

I walked along a brown dusty path. I was in a middle of a dark shady forest. The perfect place for a Dark Guild.
