Chapter 9

Sting's pov

I secretly watched as Flora got her guild insignia, and walked to her room, with Lotus and Frocsh. I walked over to the girl.

"Hey Ashly. Like our new guild member?"

She turned around in her chair and smiled at me.

"I know she's going to pass the test."

"She will," I said to her.

She turned back around and started working on a stack of paper on her desk. I caught a glimpse of her guild mark on her hand. I frowned and sat down on her desk. She looked at me.

"Come on a mission with me."

"I don't want to," She answered.

"No buts! I have a mission tomorrow with Rogue. But now since Flora is here, he doesn't want to come. Which means I don't have anyone to come with me."

She sighed.

"Do I have a choice?"

"No."

She sighed but smiled.

"I could get some more money for my rent."

"That's the spirit!" I yelled.

I patted her head, and smiled.

"We leave tomorrow!" I yelled as I walked away.

"Ok! See you then!"
