Chapter 1

Everything was dark.....I couldn't see a thing. My wrists were chained to the wall, so I wouldn't try to escape. It's not like I was planning too anyway.......Every time I move a wave of pain runs through me. I heard the door suddenly creak open. I was too tired to see who it was, but by their voices I could tell it was a boy and a girl.

"Are you sure about this, Master?"

"Yes. Release her."

I heard the soft clanking of the keys, as I felt the weight from my wrists vanish.

"She could be the perfect tool, to destroy Sabertooth."

Sting's pov

I leaned on the wall of the guild, as everyone watched a fight, that was going on. Did I care? No. Beside me was Rogue. He had dark black hair and red eyes. Frosch and Lector stood beside us.

"I'm going for a walk. This fight is getting boring," I said, walking past Rogue and Frosch.

"Wait for me, Sting-Kun!" I heard Lector say, running after me.

I chuckled, and walked out of the guild. Lector followed me. Lector was a red Exceed, but he can't fly......I think. As we were walking down the path, I suddenly saw something and stopped. Lector stopped and looked at me.

"What's the matter, Sting-Kun?" Lector asked.

"I thought I saw something......"

I sniffed the air, and my eyes winded slightly.

"That smell...."

I ran down the path. Lector followed right behind my heels. Soon I saw a figure of a person. The person was a girl. She had long blonde hair, and blue purple eyes, like me. But she was really beat up. She had burn marks, whip marks, and maybe some scars. She looked up at me.

"Sting....Kun.....," Was all she said, before fainting in front of me.
