The Years After

Hello everyone, I am Louse, I've taken over this part. Most of this story was Sarna's and Ben's recollections and from notes and dairies. From mine Bill Stanson's, General Walson and such.

Sarna returned to Myrtles only to leave again finding it was no longer home. Carolina gave her a small Island to live on. Where her and Ben lived out there remaining days. Sarna was called on several times in the years after. Only answering one time. The Western uprising. That though is another story if we live to tell it.

Sarna and Ben have two surviving children twins named Sarah and Elizabeth. Although they lost three others. Young William stillborn, Marilyn was stillborn, Benjamin survived nine hours maybe less. They never ceased to love each other.

I'll return to them, first while it's on my mind. The Keepers still keep the past. The lands are fully United under one Government. Although the people are allowed to know of the past and develop on their own. The Keepers now teach the past.

General Walson took over The First United Army Colonel Terrence his Second in Command. Who later led The First United. Sarna fought to Keep The First United intact as a fighting force after the War. Ben took on to find away for trial of accused people. Fought for rights of the accused.

My second Father and Bens Father Bill Stanson stayed Admiral of the Navy. Busard had the second Fleet.

Myself well, I stayed close to Ben and Sarna only going to sea for short times. To get the wind and spray in my face. I never took a wife. My family was Ben, Sarna and the girls. Owens found happiness at sea with Bill. They explored many lands at the Navies expense.

Ben past just a few months ago, age seventy.
Back to them, my dear friends. They never turned a visitor away. Always offered coffee or whisky.
The Island was home to all that stayed. Any Soldier could help out on the farm or fish stay as long as needed. Sarna was the First true President after the Western Uprising. Her and Ben Led the Land well, fighting for a Constitution and a Bill of rights.

Sarna kept an eye on the Ocean Blue, always wondering if another Invader would come. Although I know her and Ben were happy loving and stayed together never quitting. Sarah and Liz took command of The First United during the Western Uprising. Leading like Ben and Sarna.

No life is perfect although they loved and cared. Lived happy. Sarna dear Ben loved you. As I. I will watch over you till I depart this world. Ben, Sarna the world needs more like you.

I only hope I've done you both justice on my part of your our story.

This story has been a joy to write. You got a little history action and I hope a good plot of a story.

Well that ending was flat, didn't sound like
Louse at all, I'll leave it up. Try this again you
choose the one you like best let me know.

Second Try
Year's after

Hello, everyone, I'm Louse, I will finish the story. My dear friends, Sarna and Ben wrote this from recollection and diaries. Mine, General Walson's, Jena's and Ben's. Before I move on to their lives.
Let's talk about Colonel Terrence along with DJ they made it home. His retirement wasn't long, after all the talking and deciding the how and why
of the peace agreement.

Colonel Terrence became Second in Command First United Army. DJ had a son, who went on to become a Ranger. The three are still living.

General Walson, took Command First United Army.
Moving to Cow pens a more central location for the
Army. Jena returned to Ohio, took a husband had four children. Never to Command an Army again.
Norm Parson after the War, didn't run for re-election, he traveled giving speeches on uniting The Thirteen Lands. Some say he dropped the seed for the Western Revolt, that started about sixteen years later.

Old Bill, Admiral Stanson, lived a long life. His Navy stayed intact, Owens his Flagship Captain.
They traveled and explored, finding Islands not marked on the maps. Even finding a few other
Lands with people in different stages of development. Owens past away two years ago.
Bill six.

Busard, Commanded the Second Fleet. Patroling the eastern coast from Maine to the Gulf coast. He lived only four years after the War.

I must not forget, our go to man. The one that took every dangerous assignment, Mitch. Him and Liz
traveled some, before settling in Ohio. Running the station her Father Common ran. Her mother stayed on with them. Far as I know they're still living. Although we haven't got a letter or visit in ages.

Myself, well, I never took a wife. I returned to sea on occasion. To feel the wind and the spray in my face. I stayed close to Ben and Sarna. They were the only family I truly felt I had. Selling my Coffee Plantation to my Brother. Acting as security for three years. More on that later. Now the part I hope does them justice. Sarna and Ben.

For one year after the War. Sarna remained in Command of The First United. The Soldiers refused to muster out. For that year, Sarna fought to keep The Army and Navy assembled. Winning that Battle as Ben and I knew, she would. She did call for The Lands to unite. That fell on deaf ears.

They moved to Myrtles, Sarna felt like it wasn't home. Carolina granted her an Island, called Buck Island. Where they moved to. Building a small house and lighthouse for Sarna to look out over her beloved Ocean Blue. Ben never Rangered again. He campaigned for a trial by jury and rights for the accused.

They Farmed and made Ale, later Ben took to Distilling Rye Whisky. They had five Children.
Although two were still born. One lived nine hours maybe a little less or more. He died in Sarna's arms as she rocked him. Ben kneeling alongside her.

The twins were born after young William. Then Marilyn stillborn, then the last Benjamin I dug his grave. Ben and Sarna took that one harder than the other two. The Daughters Sarah and Elizabeth.
Grew to be fine ladies. During The Western Revolt, they had Command of The First United. Like Sarna around sixteen.

Sarna and Ben lived and loved as any couple could.
They were happy for the most part. Always excepting visitors, they enjoyed when old First United members showed up. Sarna's name was called several times, only answering after the Western Revolt. She took on the leadership President. Of The Fledgling United Lands. Ben the Vice President. They worked on and got a Bill of Rights and a Constitution. I was in charge of security for them. They led The Lands for five years. Stepping down to live a normal life again.

Ben past away, not more than a few months ago.
Age of sixty, myself I'm sixty four. Sarna, well she carries on. Some days she goes off to talk Ben, as she puts it. My dear Friends, I and Sarna are the only remaining Command of The First United.
Ben, Sarna we need more people like you, I love you both like Brother and Sister.

Well, I think that's a little better. Doesn't feel like it repeats over and over. Vote Comment. Let me know what you think of the story and which ending is better. Thank you for following this journey I've enjoyed telling it. Hope you enjoyed as much.
