Sarna paced some, so they could have Helicopters
Twenty-seven tanks. Well, let's say twenty-three for now. That many soldiers, why did we manage to get this far? Think about it you four, how did we slip by, without running into them in force? Louse tapped his pipe, you don't think, they let us get by?
Taft shook his head, no I don't think they would do that, why let your enemy waltz in.

Owens smiled, it doesn't sound like a good idea. Do they really think, they have you? Where they want you, think about it you ran past two major cities. Took not one but, two cities. Atlanta and Savannah.
Quickly like they just bowed down. I heard Columbia put up a great fight. Sarna you best plan well, advance quickly or you might not fair well.

Stanson thought a moment, Owens ya not thinkin a sucker move are ya? Bill, what do you mean? Louse entered in, sucker move one Privateer sails by the Merchant Ship, the other behind them, below the horizon. The first ship veers off and leaves. The Merchant feels lucky, pays no mind. Second ship is on them before they know what hit them. They were suckered into, being un-alert.

Sarna paced more rested her hand on her pistol,
So we may have been suckered into some kind of attack. Louse we need scout's out now! Sarna, we have them out. Ten miles all directions looping back in. Not much more we can do. Double them Louse. I fear you are correct.  Why didn't I listen before? Bill Charles Town and back how fast? One day no more, why ya want a run up that way, I was ready ta split the fleet.

Yes, Bill, one ship, to be safe check it make sure nothing is moving south. That I shall do, am I needed here? Yes, stay send a runner. Meyer can make that run, how do I get a runner? Step out tell Liz, she'll send for one. Bye, your leave. Taft if we get you into Charles Town could you do the same there as in Savannah? Wish I could say yes if Ansted figured it out. Who else did but waited for more information. I'll help in other ways. Just say what you need. I'll think about that. Louse find the rest meeting now!

Sarna paced moved outside, Liz you or at least three others. Are around lately, what is your job besides snipper?  Sarna, I thought you knew, we are your protection and we can be split up sent on jobs, let's say regular soldiers can't do. I don't need protection! I've my Army to do that. Liz special jobs you say. Yes, Sarna, we can work well in front of our lines. Liz, scout around Charles Town, not you but, a few of your detachment. I want a report on strength, defenses. Liz smiled, avoid contact in and out. Good enough, I'll make it so. They will leave within the hour. That fast, Liz? Yes, that fast.
Bye, your leave.

Stanson knocked the spent tobacco out of his pipe.
Sarna, message, sent. Just had ta think a spell. Maybe Louse and Owens, myself included are jumping to conclusions. Could be they're stupid, haven't a clue on how ta fight a war. Bill, if only, that is the case. I don't think even our slow reaction they could of moved as far as they did. A
swift consolidated attack, Bill do they not have a real plan to seize The Thirteen Lands? Bill, you can stay out here if you please too. I'm going back in to think on this, till the rest arrive. Sarna, Old Bill needs ta think also, I'll be nearby.

Ben and Jacob were the last to arrive, Ben sat Jacob remained standing. Ben asked well, what's all the fuss about? Sarna thought a moment, I am beginning to wonder if we haven't moved into a trap. This has been far too easy. Atlanta, Savannah both falling so fast. No real fight except for Columbia. Thoughts, please? Jacob looked around if no one is going to speak, I will. Maybe it's not a trap, we've given them the perfect opportunity to make it one. We need to start an advance on Charles Town, as soon as possible. First, we need to know what is in front of us.

Sarna nodded already done, Liz has sent a team up, to investigate that. Stanson added Meyer is going up, to check on how many ships and such.
A look from the Ocean. Garret asked what of the Gulf Coast? That would be my next move. Lana spoke up, send a rider to Burns, we must know of this. Sarna nodded, we sent one already, let's send another, Lana you do that after this meeting.

Louse after the meeting your Corp shall move forward not more than forty miles. Maybe a little more. I want some kind of protection to our front.
Father choose one of your Corps to go with him.
That should bolster our front some. Sarna unrolled her map. What position shall you stop? Beaufort Louse set up a defensive position at Beaufort.
Louse wrote it down, yes Sarna normal patrol and pickets? Yes, Louse you are my eyes and ears. We need to know what they are doing. Garret one Troop to backtrack our movement, plus one to check Carolina's route from Columbia. Tell them report to Louse after. Just one for each? One only Garret no more.

Ben said, and I told the Line Commanders of Bama and Missasip to move up even with ours. We'll have a more consolidated front. I informed Walson of this. I still haven't got all the reports in as to our lines. Where any gaps are, for now, guess we wait on those. Keep your people alert but let some rest.
We don't need an overtired Army. Sarna unless you have something or anyone else does. We need to take care of these orders. No, Ben, I have nothing more, just wish we had a way to get word from Jena and her Army. Even a rider couldn't make it this far. Stanson smiled she is smart, Sarna she will find a way to send word. Will I be needed in the morning? Stay the night Bill, head back tomorrow. Check with me, before leaving. That I'll do Sarna. Sarna waved get your assignments done.

Those not on duty come back here after evening meal. Little rest story time.  We haven't had one in a while. Now go I need to rest and think. Ben looked over at Sarna, in an low voice, only minutes after they leave you sleep. Her head down on the table. Sleep, dear lady. Ben stepped outside. Guard do not disturb her, for at least two hours. Yes, Sir, unless a full out attack. You seen, never mind, I see her. Ben walked a way, Liz! Ben just on my way to see Sarna, a team of three are out, to check Charles Town. Good, Liz, she is resting, I'll tell her. Can we talk some? Sure, let's walk I was going to head back to my Platoon after. Ben motioned lead the way.

Liz, ease up on the guards, I noticed I am sure Sarna has. She already spoke up on that. I'll only keep one on you, myself or one other. Besides what I've noticed, why are you here? To support you, protect you both. Plus targets of opportunity.
Half my platoon will go out soon, find and take out command and control. We do, things you won't be able to. I'll have a complete rundown, for you here after evening meal. Just haven't had time. To do it, all this rapid fighting. Ben nodded figured as much. Listen about seven stop in, few will be around for story time, just a few minutes to laugh blow off some steam. Stop in, tell us what you will need and be doing. Hang around for the story.

Sure thing, about seven then. Ben stopped yes seven, I need to check on Louse. So, bye, your leave. No Ben by yours.

Little long I think, sorry if I had too many characters.
Your opinion is this a trap? Could Sarna have moved into a grand ploy? Thank you for reading, comment vote.
