Although not all the technology of that time work.
Hint no radio communication, other than ships and few other things. Can Sarna win this War, that remains unanswered? Norm has stated several times underdeveloped Lands have beaten advanced Lands in the past. Is The Republic truly a Republic?

Mitch jumped from his sleep, heart racing like a running horse. Damn, night frights Kit and James gittin ate, by wolves. I knows those bastards didn't bury the dead! Left them ta be feasted on, damn them! Sorry, Fellers old Mitch didn't want ta leave ya that way. I'm plum awake now, best be moving
looks ta be close ta midnight. Slept a couple hours I'll be fine. Mitch saddled his horse took a drink of ale, wish I had some coffee well ale a do. Checking his three pistols then his rifle.
