You woke up only to find your head conveniently rested on Keith's shoulder. You were both sitting against the hard wall, snuggled up. Turning your view sideways, you saw Hunk drooling on your shoulder.
"GAH—" You hopped up, causing Keith and Hunk to hit their heads on each other.
"OW!" Keith grunted. Hunk passed out from the concussion.
You held your arms. "I was sitting on the far side of the room, how did I mov—" That's when it came to you. "Pidge. . ." you muttered.
Pidge's expression was smug. It made you sick to your stomach. You were so going to get her for this later. But in the meantime, you got ready for the day. You shuffled around the toaster-oven of a room and tried sorting out the clothes you were planning to wear.
"(F/C)-black, (F/C)-black, (F/C)-black. Ooh, black and (F/C). Yeah, let's shake it up a little." And so, you changed into those clothes after shooing Lance away from the bathroom since the bathtub was his bed for the night. After applying some intense eyeliner, you came out.
"Good morning, (Y/N)!" Shiro was the first to say. Keith was just getting up, he placed on his signature red jacket before taking out some hair products. He basically poured out his hairspray on his hair, probably using half the bottle. Pidge was coughing since she was behind him.
"Man! That's like a waterfall! Stop using so much," Pidge complained. Keith only ignored her. Matt was having an asthma attack from too much inhalation of it.
"Look, even Hunk passed out!" Lance pointed out.
"Nah, don't worry. He just has a concussion," Keith reassured. Everyone's jaw was agape.
"Whatever, I'm just gonna head out. I can't stand this hotel's reek for another second," you commented.
"That's not the hotel, that's Lance."
"WHO SAID THAT!?" Lance screeched. Nobody uttered a word.
"Whatever, I'll meet you dorks outside." You opened the door and waited outside. There were a few sketchy hobos here and there, but you kept to yourself. Keith was the first to join you.
"Hey."
"Oh, hey," you responded. "So, what are we going to be doing today?"
He answered, "well, there's going to be a rodeo tomorrow night. For today, we could sightsee around."
". . .What's to sightsee in this town? The roadkill?"
"NO, there's a city up ahead. We could check that out. My dad used to take me to—" He looked over to see that you were already asleep from his monologue. He growled. "WAKE UP!"
"WH—oh, yeah. That sounds fun."
He hmphed. "All my ideas are fun."
You glanced at the building you were staying in before turning to him. "Sure."
"It's a new experience, stop being so stuck-up."
"Whatever you say. But when I get mugged, I'm blaming you."
You and Keith shared a laugh. The same feeling of warmth came up again. "Well, uh—let's get ready to go."
"Okay," you responded, a bit disappointed in the moment ending. But you shook it off. All the others were changing out of their sleepwear, so it'd probably be thirty minutes before everyone was set for the day. You put on some black spiky heeled boots because you liked to punish yourself.
For the time being, you relaxed on the couch, flipping through an Emo 2 The Extremo edition of a Kerrang! magazine you brought with you. All the pictures of My Chemical Romance made you emotional. Please make a comeback. Please. After contemplating your existence, Shiro exited the bathroom.
