Chapter 11: Merci, Crystal

Crytal's POV

As I got out of the cafe I look at them and saw Grayson's eyebrows met, maybe he's wondering why my father change. I then notice the man across the street whose been looking at my direction, I look at him he is in all black with a mask and a cap, his emerald eyes met mine but he look away then walk away. While walking back to the house the guy's eyes it looks so familiar. I feel I've look at it twice but no it can't be him,right? "UGH!" I groan when my head hit a post "what the heck?" I asked while massaging my forehead "hey miss you ok?" a man's voice asked I raised my head. I could not see his face clearly because of the sun's stupid light.

I then look at him again I can only see his blue clear eyes "I yea I'm ok thanks for asking" I said then our eyes met "no worries..." he said "Crystal " I said "no worries Crystal Adrian by the way" he said he then helped me get up "thank Adrian gotta go, see ya!" I said while running "yea, see ya!" he shouted back. While walking I'm listening to the song from the mixtape he gave. I was singing the song quietly when I felt someone is really following me, but continued walking until I reached the house "hey dad!" I said as I entered the house "hey sweety let's go?" he asked "I'll go change first" I said then go upstairs.

When get out of the house. I saw dad in the driver seat of a old red wrangler (the model of the wrangler is the photo) I was shocked dad sold this when we ran out of money "wait, what! dad when did you get this?" I asked "oh well someone gave this I uhhh saw this outside then saw this note" he said looking nervous then handed me the note

That's all "Anonymous company don't believe it but well now it's here let's use it" I said "ok then let's go"he said then we go to the hospital. After curing my wound we go back home I change to my uniform of the cafe then wear a black hoodie. When I arrived it's almost eight. I then go to the kitchen to put my hoodie there then go to then go to the counter "Crystal go make their drink early and also the macaroon" manager Nick said as he approached me "ok then I'll get going" I said then go back to the kitchen. I just finished I put all of it in a tray then go back I saw manager Dennis team sitting in the table "here's your drink the macaroons will arrived later" I said while putting the tray "oh thank you honey" she said then get the "La bio d'Adam et Eve' then look at DJ "here's your drink DJ" she said while giving the drink to DJ "Je peux prende mon moi-meme Vanessa (I can get my drink by myself Vanessa)" DJ said looking at her coldly and grab his drink. He then look at me "merci Crystal (thank you Crystal)" he said that made my cheeks shade pink a little I look at manager Dennis who look at DJ with shocked face. I notice Vanessa is looking at me giving me a sharp glare

I just go back to the kitchen forgetting Vanessa's glare and remember what DJ's said to me.

It plays in my head over and over again like a love song. I then put the macaroons in front of them and felt Vanessa's glare but I didn't mind then go back to the kitchen then do the dished.
