-Based off the song "Middle of a Memory" by Cole Swindell- It is also short as hell... please don't hurt me-

I didn't come to a place like this often, a bar was somewhere I went only on a rare occasion. Today I went honestly just out of pure boredom. I didn't go to get drunk, in fact, I've only had a shot of whiskey. Well, someone changed that. A woman with short navy blue hair, and ocean eyes. When She walked into the room, a strange silence clicked. Only to me though, upon seeing her I blocked out everything. I shook my head, looked at the counter, and blushed a light crimson. I noticed a feeling of someone looking at me, I looked up and saw the same girl. And unexpectedly, we hit it off. My social anxiety didn't exist with this woman. That's when my one drink order became a two drink order. We talked like we've known each other for years, no problem. Her name? Lapis. That's all I was told. The bar had a small dance floor, that we decided to take advantage of. I spun her around, just to hear her giggle. A old school country song played softly in the background, to be exact it was "Good Hearted Woman" by Waylon Jennings. It wasn't long until I, After a long mental debate, starting leaning closer to her. Only inches away. I noticed that the blue haired girl I've only know for the past 45 minutes Lean in as well. That was, before we had gotten blindsided by Lapis' friend. They both left like they were in a hurry. I watched them burst out the doors. Like she left, right in the middle of a movie. Or tore the back half out of the book.
And she'll never know that what she did to wasn't right. Not saying goodbye? She left me along in the dark under these lights. Right in the middle of a memory. We were gonna dance till they shut it down...People would be staring while I spin you round. Thinking we were so in love... They wouldn't know we hadn't even hooked up. I'd get your number and I'd give you mine, And we'd be hanging out tomorrow night. But now I don't know where you are
I'm under these lights right here in the dark.
Im in the middle of the dance floor all alone, somewhere no one should be. The song continues.
"She loves him in spite of his ways that she don't understand."
Thats about right... I don't understand why she left like that. But hell I loved her.
And I have no idea where she is.
Well, Lapis, thanks.
You left me right in the middle of a memory.
