"Nice to meet you ma'am." I held my hand out for her to shake. She looked at my hand, then back at me. I was afraid she wasn't going to shake it, but she surprised me by pulling me in for a hug.

"Oh my Jaxxy has finally settled down! and with a gorgeous ragazza!" Jax should've warned me I would need to know some Italian. I didn't even know he was Italian. She squeezed me tightly, for such a small woman she sure had a strong grip.

"Mom, I think you're hurting her." Jax tried not to laugh as he watched me try to catch my breath.

"Oh non-sense! You just don't want to share her." She pulled back to look at me, holding me at arms length. "How many babies do you want? My figlio wants three." My eyes bugged out of their socket. Babies? I just met her and shes talking about babies? I looked to Jax for help.

Jax shook his head. "Wheres dad?" he asked, pulling me out of her arms. I stumbled into his side.

She rolled her eyes. "Where he always is." We followed her as she walked towards the living room. "Nathan! Your son is here." She yelled out. Her voice carried throughout the house, I'm sure wherever Nathan was he definitely heard her.

"You couldn't have gone up and got him?" Jax asked her.

"When did you two meet? Why have you been hiding her from me?" His mom asked taking a seat on the couch. She patted the spot next to her, smiling at me.

"No one's been hiding her mom." Jax leaned against the door frame, watching me as I sat down.

"Yet this is the first time you've brought her to dinner." She smiled at me. At this point the friendliness was bordering creepy.

"Son, what brings you here?" A loud voice boomed from the hall. Jax visibly stiffened upon hearing it.

"Oh honey! Our boy is getting married."

The man walked into the room, eyes going directly to me. I could feel the power behind his stare, I squirmed in my seat. He gave a loud laugh. "You cant be serious? You're claiming this, as your wife?" My face blushed at his insult. Was he serious? How rude could someone be?

Jax opened his mouth to reply but I beat him to it. I don't care how rich this man was, my mom raised me to demand respect. No one was above me, we're all humans. "This, just happens to be the best thing that could ever happen to your son." I stood up addressing him. "He's lucky to be marrying me." Sure it was a fake marriage, but I still felt the need to defend it and myself.

He looked me over once again, taking a step forward. "You naive child, you dare disrespect me in my home?"

"I'm not giving you respect that you don't deserve."

Jax came to stand next to me. "Father calm down."

"Calm down? If this thing is meant to be your future wife then she needs to learn some respect." He looked at me with malice in his eyes. "And I'll gladly teach her." Did he really just call me a thing?

"For one, that's my future wife you're talking to. The next time you open your mouth, you better choose your words carefully." Jax stood in front of me, facing his father. I tried not to let his words go to heart. Of course being his pretend fiance he'd defend me.

Out of nowhere two buff guys dressed in all black came to stand behind his father. They watched me with a threat in their eyes. "I think it's time for you to take your leave." His father said.

"Nathan! Stop this." His mother finally spoke up, grabbing on to Nathans arm. He acted as if she said nothing. Who raised this guy? Wolves.

Jax grabbed my arm, pulling me towards the door. I guess we were leaving, so much for dinner. The guys in black followed us all the way outside where a limo was waiting. Jax held the door open waiting for me to get in. I awkwardly sat on the seat, feeling like a total moron for ruining dinner. So much for being the perfect fake fiance.

Jax didn't say anything as he got in, making me believe he was angry. Whatever reason he wanted me to pretend to be his fake fiance for I might've just ruined it. "I'm sorry." I mumbled.

A sound of surprise left my mouth when he pulled me over to him, smashing his lips to mine. My eyes were wide open as he kissed me like a starving man. He wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me onto his lap. After weighing the pros and cons of kissing him back, I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him close. I saw no cons.

His hands moved from my lower back to my shoulder, like he couldn't get enough of touching me. I slid my tongue into his mouth, moaning as we fought for dominance. Why couldn't he just let me be in control? I tugged on the ends of his hair, coaxing a groan out of him. His hands slipped up the back of my shirt, making me shiver at the skin on skin contact. My heart was beating so fast I was afraid I'd have a heart attack. What was he doing to me?

We pulled apart to catch our breath, I blushed. Now that my mouth was no longer attached to his I now had to look into his eyes. "You got nothing to be sorry for."

I tried not to think about the fact that I was still sitting on his lap when I responded. "I'm pretty sure I might've ruined things."

He smirked at me. "Not at all, I knew my dad wouldn't approve. I just didn't know how much of a mouth you had on you. My little spit fire."

I climbed off his lap glaring. "What do you mean you knew he wouldn't approve? Are you saying I'm not wife material?" I crossed my arms leaning back in my seat.

He slid a hand through his hair. "No offense, but you're not my type, and my father knows that."

I gaped at him. "So why the hell am I pretending to be your fiance?" Not his type, so why the hell did he just kiss me like that then? He was such a jerk!

"Reverse psychology, since my father knows you're not my normal type. It's more believable that I would marry you. We never truly get exactly what we want in life, right?" He had a point, but still I felt so used. I mean I knew he was using me in the first place but knowing I'm not even his type just makes it feel different. Cindy was right.
