CHAPTER EIGHT . Two

"Jimin..."

Lisa Hearst, also known as the most popular it girl in Manhattan Dale, a small town in Pembroke Coreia, tried her very best not to melt down in the bad boy's arms. She heaved a shaky breath when she decided to gave up as her hands snaked around his torso and embrace him back.

She will always have a soft spot for him, no matter what the circumstance it might have. Hearst couldn't resist the bad boy's rare sweet gestures.

"What comes into your head that you decided to follow me, Clark?"
There's amusement laced in her voice as she snuggled closer to the young man, burying the tip of her nose on his neck.

"You frightened me, Hearst."

"Why is that? Am I that scary?"

"No."
He received a playful slap and a small cute whine from her upon his comment but he just smiled softly as he caressed the back of her head.

Thanked the heavens she can't see his expression right now.

"Why then?"
She asked pouting, her warm breath tickles him but he remained impassive.

There's a moment of silence before Jimin finally decided to answer her question. He let go of his hold on her as he took a one step back so that he can face the girl.

Lisa's light brown eyes reflect curiosity in them and Jimin was fascinated. He promised himself he wouldn't let anybody break his wall but look at him now, carelessly spouting words without even thinking twice,
"Because, I realized I cannot stand to lose you."

Her eyes turned soft as her lips lift into a wide smile. Jimin almost stumbled when Lisa decided to jump on him and gave him a suffocating bear hug.

"Aawwhhh! You're such a good friend, Jimin! You're forgiven!"
She squealed in delight, feeling giddy all of a sudden to the sweet words that came out from the bad boy's mouth.

Jimin clicked his tongue and tried taking Lisa's arm off his neck but the latter was too happy, her friend decided to follow her all the way here.

Only few people know about her secret place and Jimin is one of them.

"You're starting to annoy me again, get the fuck off, Lisa! I can't breath!"
But the girl just laughed and continued to do small jumps while clinging on him.

"Awwhh, no you don't! You treasure me." She teased with the animated voice she always used when she's trying to be cute to get what she wants.

Jimin rolled his eyes and sighed defeatedly, he stopped struggling and just let Lisa cling onto him. The brunette put her arms around his neck as she stared at the bad boy's sharp features. His intimidating dark gaze were focus on other sights beside her, his plump red lips were pursed into a thin line it's obvious that he's really starting to get annoyed which it didn't really surprise her since she knows he has temper, his thick perfect brows were furrowed softly, but his nose is cute. Lisa can't help but to giggle on her friend's grumpiness.

He caught his attention and their eyes meet. The playfulness on the girl subside as she mirrored Jimin's expression.

"Me too."
Jimin's brow rosed up when he heard her sudden solemn tone.

"I don't want to lose you too. I'm sorry for slapping you."
Lisa's hand then held his cheek and his eyes closed as he shake his head slightly.

"I deserved it."
Lisa smiled at his words, he look so serious that it amuses the girl. Why does her friend suddenly acting like this towards her?

"Well yeah, you kinda do."
And they both laughed.

"Come on, Hearst. Let's get out of here. I'll treat you some cheese burger."

"That's what I've been wanting to hear! Free food!"

Lisa was fast to untangle herself to him and headed straight to the door, leaving Jimin behind.

"What are you waiting for Clark!? Let's go!"
