The new year came in with a bang. Christmas was great, as I took Sarah and Jason to the winter wonderland amusement park and bought them all the presents they wanted. I even bought a rattle for Zayan, since he loved the noise. I only saw Madison when I came to pick up Sarah, but we never said more than two words to each other.
January was a really slow month for us, as no high profile contracts came in, but luckily we still got paid while being at home. It's a good thing too since Cindy was due in a month. When February hit, all those breathing lessons and classes helped Cindy a lot. On the sixth day in February, Cindy gave birth to a happy, healthy bouncing baby girl.
My heart was once again in the hands of a child. Our child was so beautiful but pale. The doctor said it's nothing to worry about, once she starts breathing more oxygen, she'll be a normal brown complexion. Just as the doctor said, after spanking her and she got a bit more oxygen in her, she started looking our complexion.
The nose was like mine this time, the rest of the features were perfect. I can't wait for her to see her dad and mom. The thing is, that Cindy has never had a child before, so as a first-time mother, she'll need all the guidance as possible. I can help her, but who better to assist than a mother. Luckily I met Cindy's parents during a Christmas dinner at their home in Forrest Hills.
After meeting them, I couldn't understand why Cindy wanted to be an agent. She literally had a hold spoon in her mouth, but as she notified me after we left I understood that Cindy wanted to make it in life on her own. Mom an dad could have easily set her up for life, but that's not how she wanted to achieve in life.
So as the baby was born we had to come up with a name that meant something close to our heart. After a while of discussing, we came up with the perfect name, Jessica Trident. A name fit for a queen, well until then, a princess, my princess. The nurses then came in and took Jessica to clean her off, and Cindy as well had to be cleaned off.
She was weak after all that screaming and pushing, but she did it and delivered successfully a baby girl. As she was going to be cleaned, I stepped out of the room in order to give the nurses and Cindy some privacy. As I walked out, my mind strayed a bit on marriage. I'm not too sure about marrying so soon, but if we were ready, I'd definitely marry Cindy. Then again I don't want to jinx our relationship with any talk of marriage so I'll keep it to myself.
We were happy, just being in a common-law relationship for the moment. I had filed for divorce and Madison signed the papers willingly, when she heard about Cindy's pregnancy. I was finally divorced and Cindy was now miss Trident, unofficially of course. I had an even bigger place in my heart for Cindy at this point and I will never let her go.
I can't believe I'm acting like it's my first relationship, but to actually make someone a first-time mother feels so good. Especially when you're staying with said person. I never thought I'd be with another person after Madison was all I knew since that faithful day approximately five years ago.
The universe works in such a mysterious way. Out of nowhere, Cindy came into my life, as a partner at first, but eventually, look how far we've come in a year and some months. Some may say I'm moving too fast, but I'm a man and I need love. Cindy was perfect for me since we loved the same things and sex was one of them. Then again, Madison was the same, the only difference was Cindy understood the job we do, so there would be no cheating involved in our relationship, or at least I'd hope so.
During my time away from the room, I had a lot of time to think and questions to be asked. I couldn't wait to get home with Cindy and Jessica. Of course, if you have to pick up Jason in Danville before all of this. Despite the shift in appearance, Jason was doing excellent in school and even won some awards along the way. I talked to him, explaining the shift and he was allowed to see mommy and his grandparents anytime he so wished and Sarah as well.
