At 3 am I had been wide awake, which was strange for me since I loved my rest. I got off my bed and looked out the window, but nothing out of the ordinary occurred. I heard my notification tone all the way in the bedroom, so I rushed back just in case it was Chelsea.

As I made it back to the bedroom, I took up my phone. A peculiar email was received from a no-reply email that I had never seen before. I normally never open emails like this but I was extra curious at this point. Upon opening, the first line read "is your marriage in the rocks? Do you want to fix your failing relationship?"

Something like that, especially when I'm going through hardships with my spouse. I would really wanna find out more because I've had enough of this separation and I just wanted us to be okay. There was an address to the bottom of the email and the bold print said to be there within the next hour because spaces were limited.

I immediately got dressed and drove to the address indicated in the email. It was a building that I regularly pass on my way to work, but it never stuck out to me as any type of extraordinary building. There were no long lines, just a few men ahead of me that were allowed to enter one by one with a one-minute interval between persons.

My car was valeted since it didn't have any parking spaces close by. The attendant assured me that my car would be secured with the highest level of service and I should go inside quickly since all the good seats were at the front.

As I entered I remembered my phone in the mount on my dash, but there was no way I'd miss a spot at the front for my phone. It's not like Chelsea would call at this hour, she's already fast asleep.

Mummy! I had a nightmare! The cry of my youngest daughter. She'd fallen asleep after watching a movie with her sisters, but I didn't pay attention to the movie because I had been so busy dealing with Taylor. As I hugged her, she quickly fell asleep in my arms, but I was unable to sleep now.

My mind went astray, so I picked up my phone in order to scroll through my social media. Oh my gosh, my social media was utterly boring. Taylor's social media was the most exciting thing ever, and I wished he was around so I could cuddle while I scrolled through his.

I then proceeded to ease myself out of bed, so my daughter won't wake up, noticing I was gone. Successfully I made my way out of bed and checked the other room, my other two babies were fast asleep. Then I walked out into the dimly lit living room.

The rain Pitter pattered on the closed windows but walking by, I noticed I forgot one opened. The wind had now begun to blow fiercely so I had to brace myself in order to close it. As I looked through the blurry window, I noticed in the distance a single long bolt of lightning that looked as if it had hit the earth.

I was curious but I wasn't about to investigate in this weather, especially after hearing the loud crack of thunder that followed. It was so loud that it woke all of my kids. The sounds of screaming and crying, followed by my mom running out of the bedroom for my dad's heart tablets, where the events of my night.

I ran toward my bedroom to check on my youngest who had been crying loudly under the sheets. I picked her up and went to the other bedroom where my other two girls were hugging each other. I assured them that it was nothing to worry about and I let them know it was just a thunderstorm outside, but we were all safe inside.

As I comforted them, I went to my parent's room to check on them. My dad had to take his tablets since the excitement was just too much for him, and his heart started racing. My mom was also startled but she was okay. She asked me if the kids were alright before leaving to check on them.
