"EVERYBODY RUUUUNNNN!!!!!!"
The shout was heard throughout the Tower. Interns locked away all inventions and laptops, then barricaded doors.
They huddled together, clenching their phones in their hands, prepared to call their families to say their last words.
Some new intern had been an idiot, and the others were tempted to send him out as the sacrifice, but they knew it wouldn't end well for anybody.
One of the workers had told F.R.I.D.A.Y to activate emergency protocol 'HYPER CHILD', effectively putting the Tower on lockdown and shutting down all electronics besides herself, lights, sirins and locks.
A couple of the newer interns had no idea what was going on and asked one of their superiors.
"Ms. Leah, what's going on? Why is the Tower on lockdown?" Mason asked, afraid of what was going on.
"The new intern, Sam, gave Peter coffee." She whispered, looking out the small slit in the door. Emelia scrunched her nose at that.
"That's it? Why is it such a problem." She said loudly, before being shushed by everyone in the room. Max spoke up from where he hid behind a table.
"You don't understand. This is a hyperactive Peter Parker we are talking about. When he gets coffee, he has a major reaction to it, and destroys everything in his path. Last time, we didn't know what was happening, and it was something out of a horror movie." Other interns then put in their inputs as well.
"Smashed test tubes and windows."
"Explosive reactions from mixed chemicals."
"Friday ended up getting shut down."
"Tears through the walls."
"Bullet holes in the ceiling."
"Doors torn off the hinges."
"Upturned tables and chairs."
"Inventions annahialated."
"Electronics obliterated."
"Interns tied up."
"Scientists unconciouus."
"Workers disappeared."
"No one had been ready."
"It took them days eventually clean it all up. We were lucky the Avengers were out, otherwise they might have gotten hurt as well."0.o 0.o 0.o 0.o 0.o 0.o 0.o 0.o 0.o 0.o 0.o
"F.R.I.D.A.Y?! What the fuck is going on?!" Tony shouted over the alarms to his A.I as the Tower went into lockdown.
"Language!" Steve berated.
"English! F.R.I.D.A.Y?!" Tony questioned.
"Protocol 'HYPER CHILD' has been activated. Please remain in your locked area until authorised to leave."
F.R.I.D.A.Y spoke in a monotone voice.
What is Protocol 'HYPER CHILD'? What is that all about?" Natasha called to the others as she ran into the room with Clint, Wanda Pietro in tow.
"Protocol 'HYPER CHILD' is activated when the intern known as Peter Parker is given or drinks coffee. He has drank a cup of coffee, therefore we are unable to shut down the lockdown procedure before Mr. Parker has run through the adrenaline. For your own safety, please remain in this room."
The Avengers were all silent until Bucky broke it.
"Well that makes a whole lot of sense." Pietro laughed.
"Me and Wanda made that protocol awhile back. Peter is one of the interns and, trust us-" Pietro was cut short by Wanda.
"A hyper Peter Parker would be the Avengers downfall. We were all out last time, otherwise you would have seen the chaos that followed." Wanda explained with a shudder.
She loved Peter, he was like a little brother to her and Pietro, but he had a major problem with coffee.
The coffee makes him get extremely hyper and have an adrenaline rush. He would literally be able to sneak up on anyone.
"Wait. Peter Parker? As in the kid who beat all of us in that NERF War last month?" Sam questioned.
"Yes, the Son of Parker was a cunning and valiant warrior!" Thor exclaimed in happiness.
"I remember him. He was quite nice. I see him when I visit the interns sometimes." Bruce added.
"So why do we have to worry about him being on a sugar rush? My kids get that all the time." Clint asked, before hearing gunshots and explosions suddenly fill the empty hallways.
"That... is why. He must have got into the armoury again. I say we move away from the the elevator." Wanda suggested, everyone too shocked to object.0.o 0.o 0.o 0.o 0.o 0.o 0.o 0.o 0.o 0.o 0.o
It had been a grand total of three hours before everything had calmed down. Peter has luckily stayed within five floors so that was only five percent of the Tower trashed!
That five percent though, not pretty.
The lights had all but been ripped out from the ceiling with loose wired hanging down.
The tables had been upturned, smashed, crushed or burned to a crisp, with some still smoking and one of the interns was in the middle of putting out a huge pile of papers and wood that were on fire.
There were arrows, gunshots, repulsive beams, widows bites and even an indent from Caps spare shield on the walls, and the metal covering the lock down windows was scraped and scorched, with the glass completely shattered and even dents in the supposed strong wall.
Luckily, no one had been hurt this time, including the Avengers who had been warned not to leave by Wanda, Pietro and F.R.I.D.A.Y on multiple accounts.
To say they were shocked by what the teen had done would be an understatement. They were completely gobsmacked.
"How the fuck could a kid do all this? He doesn't even look strong enough to open a jar of pickles!" Clint exclaimed as they walked through the ruins of the former floors.
"We have learned to never question the mysteries of Peter Parker." Wanda said before being continued by Pietro.
"Just... never give him coffee." He finished as they walked into the last room where Wanda had sensed Peter.
When the team walked in, they saw a kid in the middle of a chaotic circle of destruction, soundly asleep.
To his chest, he was hugging a Starbucks cup with the name Sam on it in black marker.
Must have been the same Sam they saw earlier as the intern had ran down the hall, screaming for their life while running from the angry mob.
As Peter snuggled into Pietro when he picked him up, Wanda and Pietro both thought the same thing.
'We need to write a whole set of rules about surviving life with Peter.'0.o 0.o 0.o 0.o 0.o 0.o 0.o 0.o 0.o 0.o 0.o
When Wanda and Pietro found out Peter had written a list of rules to survive being an intern, they couldn't help but write a small, teensy tiny comment at the bottom.
Rule #21. NEVER GIVE PETER PARKER COFFEE. If he has had coffee, run. Just run. Get out of the building and don't come back the next day. A hyper Peter Parker is worse than the Hulk. This is the most important rule.
And if there was a list of rules about Peter later posted along with It, no one said anything. Instead, they photocopied it and put at least two in every room.
So this has been requested by quite a few people so I have given what you have asked for! Hope you are having a good day and that you enjoyed by latest chapter.
Until the next update.
Later xxx
