"Many years ago, there were six people brought together to protect Earth. There was a man made of metal, a war hero, a god, a man with two sides, a man who never missed, and a woman who had worked for the enemy. They formed, the Avengers.
Soon, more joined them. There was a woman able to manipulate the mind, an android, a man with wings, a man who forgot who he was, another man made of metal and many more.
There was a secret country that had fierce warriors with technology far beyond what we have today. There was a king with power, a girl with intelligence beyond what most thought was possible, and a general who fought in an inevitable war with the heroes.
There were the guardian's of space. There were two assassins who once called the monster 'father', a man taken from his home, an experiment, a man who lost everything, a woman able to calm a storm, and a man who was nature itself.
There were the wizards of Kamar-Taj, once led by a mystical woman with ethereal abilities. Within these wizards were a man with a power that not many could handle and a man that was always done with his friends antics.
These people all came together to fight a titan who was trying to destroy half of the whole universe. This titan, was known as Thanos.
There was a terrible battle, with many lives lost and sacrifices made. But the heroes were losing.
The Infinity Stones were the cause, as it was with these that Thanos could achieve his plan and the heroes were in control of three of these stones, and one knew the location of the fourth, most powerful stone.
To protect these stones, the heroes disappeared off the face of the Earth, never to be seen again. The Guardians of the Galaxy, the Avengers, the Wakandan royalty, the gods and the wizards of Kamar-Taj. And so Thanos waits, knowing that the stones will appear at some point.
He took control of Earth, viewing humans as pitiful and worthless. Any who stood against him were taken, and no developement in technology has been allowed in the past 200 years, ever since the battle in 2018."

"Where are the heroes now mom?" A young boy eagerly questioned.
"I'm not sure, Peter. By know this, they will come back to save us one day. Always have hope of that." Mary Parker said to her six-year-old son, who clung to the ceiling.
He soon released his hold to the roof of his room and landed on his bed with a bounce.
"I want to be a hero too! I want to help stop the bad guys and save everybody!" Mary smiled at her young boy.
"And you will be, one day. The Amazing Spiderman!"

Peter had lost his parents not long after that. They had been part of a small rebellion against Thanos and were killed in the process.
Now, he lived with his Aunt May and Uncle Ben, who knew about his powers and his intelligence.
Peter, though, now that he was older, was afraid to have these powers. Sure, he always wanted to become a hero, but if the Mad Titan knew about his powers, he would be taken away from his family.
So, he trained in secret. Developed his powers, created non-lethal weapons, invented a suit and an A.I to go with it, and held hope that the heroes would come back.
........................................................................

When Peter was younger, he had always been told about a secret museum that had the history of the heroes in it.
It was apparently run by an old man who still believed that the heroes would come back one day, much like Peter himself.
Now, on Peters eleventh birthday, his Aunt decided to sneak him out to see it.
Peter wished his uncle could be there, but he had been killed by a robber, before the robber himself was shot by the Chitauri. Peter had held him when he died before being dragged away by the creatures.
They walked down the busy streets of New York, wary of the watching eyes that were around, and went into what looked like an abandoned building.
Further down the corridor, they found a door that was hidden from the entrance, and when they entered, it was bright and colourful and filled with old weapons and suits and everything.
While Peter walked forward in wonder, May stayed at the entrance to make sure to keep an eye out for anyone who might have followed them.
As Peter walked further in, he got extremely interested in a case that had full metal armour inside. Then he felt a presence.
"Ah, now he was an interesting character." A voice behind him said. He turned to see an old man with a friendly face.
"You mean Iron Man? What was he like?" Peter had only ever heard stories from his mom about the heroes, but could barely remember them.
"Yes. His name was Tony Stark. He was a self proclaimed genius billionaire playing phliranthropist. He used to create weapons until there was an incident, and Iron Man was born. He then began to help others and joined the Avengrs. He was very intelligent, much like you!" Before Peter could ask what he meant the man continued.
"So I heard it was your birthday today?" Peter looked at the old man in surprise and excitement. He must have taken that as a yes.
"Here. It's time I passed these on to someone else." He handed Peter a box full of what must have been at least twenty glass balls.
"Each of these have the name of every hero engraved in the centre. I found them a long time ago but I believe they would be better off with you." Peter looked inside and picked one up.
'Tony Stark'
Iro Man. He picked another one up.
'Natasha Romanoff'
He looked at the man who chuckled and looked at the name.
"Natasha Romanoff was the Black Widow, a spy for the opposite side before her partner, Hawkeye, saw the good in her and introduced her to S.H.I.E.L.D, another spy organisation but they protected people. Ah, those two. Budapest definately brought them closer." Peter gave the man a questioning look.
"What happened in Budapest?" However, the man walked off mumbling about a necklace. He came back with said object in hand.
"Here it is. This I also found with the glass balls, right next to the one with the name Gamora." He tied the necklace around Peters neck.
He looked down and saw it was a very simple necklace. An orange stone with two little beads on either side. His Spidey-sense was going off in a soft buzz. Not in a bad way, more like... something magical.
He looked around the museum a bit longer before going back to his Aunt who was in conversation with the kind old man.
"Thanks again, Mr Lee. This means so much to him." His aunt said before turning to him.
"Ready to go home honey?" His aunt asked kindly.Peter nodded his head.
"Goodbye Mr Lee! Thanks again!"
"No problem, son! Have a nice birthday!" Mr Lee waved him goodbye, and when the door closed, he sighed.
"Good luck, kid. You'll be something great one day." And so Stan Lee went back inside, making sure all the cases were clean and pristine.
When Peter went home that night, he set the box of crystal balls carefully down on his floor before going to bed.
He fell asleep to a soft hum and a gentle, orange glow.
