Internship Competition (3)

Peter caught up with his class just as they were about to enter the lunch hall.
"Ah, Peter. Glad you caught up." Mr Harrington spoke as they entered.
"Sorry, Mr Harrington." Peter said, deciding not to mention his weird encounter with the God and super soldier.
"Okay, Guys! So the food here is free and you can sit anywhere in this hall! However, please refrain from bothering any workers as this is their break. Just say what you want and see you in one hour! Enjoy!" With that, she made her way over to the same group of girls from earlier and they were left to their own devices.
Peter, naturally, ended up at the back of the queue. Flash was up front trying to get a dessert.
"But that guide said we could get anything we want!" Flash exclaimed.
"Yes, but dessert is reserved for people who actually work here." One of the woman said, an annoyed look saying 'Shut the fuck up before I make you.'
Flash walked away with his pizza and chips, muttering about 'incompetent staff' and 'He was going to work there anyways so what difference does it make?'
The line eventually dwindles down until it's just Peter.
"I'm sorry about my classmate. He was really rude to you." The woman smiled at him.
"No worries. Here, have a dessert."
"N-no, I don't want to take-"
"Relax. Just take it." Peter took the dessert and thanked her profusely before walking to one of the unoccupied tables.
"Wow, Nat. Be careful. You're showing emotions."
"Shut up, Barton. It's your fault we're here." Natasha Romanoff hissed, turning to her partner.
"Admit It, you like that kid." Clint Barton smirked, knowing full well he liked him too.
"There needs to be more people like that in this world." She said, not answering Clints previous statement.
"I guess your right."
"I'm always right."
Peter sat at one of the unoccupied tables and quietly ate his food. Well, until a group of scientists came and sat around him.
"What do you think?" They all looked at him expectantly.
"I'm sorry, what?" He was so confused. One of the older looking men passed him a tablet with a bunch of code written on it.
"We've done something wrong and none of us can figure it out. We figured we may as well ask for a younger persons view on it. An outside eye is generally all that is needed." They once again looked at him expectantly and he slowly looked down at the code.
He immediately found multiple errors, fixing them as he made his way through the long code.
He added negatives, replaced numbers, changed powers etcetera etcetera, blah blah blah, I'm not smart enough to know anything, had a had a, ANYWAYS!
Once he fixed all the errors that had previously been on the tablet, he heard Susanna call over the group and quickly followed suit.
"Right, so now we will be going to the room where you will begin the competition so please follow me." Everyone started to talk in hushed whispers about what they would be doing and Peter himself felt excitement bubble inside him.
They entered a large room filled with supplies, technology and work stations.
There was a woman and a man upfront who addressed the class.
"Hello, and welcome! My name is Leia and this is my brother Luke. Today, you will be creating a robot that is able to at least move, talk or interact. You will also take a 30 question test that no one has ever gotten more than 79% on." Leia said, her eyes scanning the group. Luke continued on after her.
"Tomorrow you will be presenting your projects to not only your classmates and us, but the head scientists, Bruce Banner and Tony Stark. Make sure to make a good impression, and good luck." With that, Luke and Leia walked out, probably to get to work. Susanna filled everyone in on the rules.
"Okay. So you can use any material and technology in this room, but you are not allowed to work together on any of this. Go pick a station and you have four hours to work on this before you are shown to your rooms. Begin."
Everyone rushed to a station, eager to start work and Peter walked to the back where the stations were nearly empty and he would be able to work alone. It was also away from any cameras.
He opened his bag and let Karen hide under the desk.
"So what do you think I should do?" Peter asked Karen.
"Not sure but I can start scanning for any useful material." Karen stated, keeping her voice low.
For now, he took out his laptop from his bag and based the coding for Karen.When the new A.I started, he tested her out.
"Hi E.L. How are you?" Peter asked, wandering how this would work.
"Hello Peter. I am doing alright. What would you like me to do?" Peter really wanted to test her out and had had S.H.I.E.L.D on his back for a while. Payback time.
"Hack into S.H.I.E.L.D without them noticing and mess with some of your files."
"Alright, I will start now." He put her back into his bag as she began hacking.
Next, he decided to work on a humming bird drone that could change into a necklace.
"Peter, I have found an extremely useful material." Karen spoke up from her silence.
"Really? What is it?"
"Vibranium." Peters jaw dropped.
"Are we allowed to use it?"
"They said you could use anything in this room."
"..."
"..."
Once he completed her, he tested her out as well. Not only was she now nearly indestructible but also almost silent .
"Honey, Reconnaissance Mode." With that, the metal bird turned invisible and showed him a view of the room through his phone.
"Honey, can you come back down now?" Honey complied and chipped happily when Peter stroked her head.
"Okay, time to recharge." With that, Honey went to the chain on his neck and turned into a wing charm.
"Sweet!" Peter was excited, he still had another hour left and decided just to do some upgrades on Karen with the leftover vibranium.
"Okay class! It is time to got to your rooms so please follow me!" Susanna stated to the class of teens.

The head scientists stared in shock at the young intern who went over to a large group of students. They all had the same thought.
Who was that kid?
