Keenan raised his head, looking at everyone. He swallowed a lump in his throat. "After Grant left, I told everyone that he was the one responsible for her death."

When Frank Keenan finished Lydia had tears covering her face as well. Grant was looking at Keenan's face.

"You know I regret that night more than anything. I wish I could of saved her Frank." The commander looked at his old friend in the dungeon cell.

"If I would have accepted that it wasn't your fault, things would have gone way better. Jason, can you let Grant out of that cell.?" Jason nodded and went to go open the cell. Lydia came to hug her father. "Thanks for telling us the truth dad. I'm sorry that I left, it created this confusion with Jason..."

"Don't apologize, I've been pointing fingers for so long, I forgot to recognize my own crimes. Jason I would be happy to have you back with the night hunters." He smiled. Jason laughed.

"Good thing Lydia stopped me from putting sour flask in that carrot juice bottle of yours, or I would be running now."

Commander Keenan looked confused. Brad and Lydia flinched.

"Just a joke, Keenan." Brad said saving Jason's butt.

Commander Keenan started laughing. Grant came to join them. Tony watched commander Keenan laugh with everyone including Jason and Grant. Earlier it was the commander and Tony laughing about when Jason was going to be banned permanently. He was so looking forward to that. Seeing Jason being outcasted and sent to Bokaj. But no, Tony and the commander's relationship was going to be changed because of Jason, and of Grant Walker returning. Tony was tired of the rivalry between him and Jason. Making sure that no one was looking he took a poison dart out of his pocket. And started aiming at Jason. Then Lydia turned and saw Tony aiming at Jason. So Lydia jumped on Jason to prevent Tony from shooting him. Keenan heard the commotion so he turned and saw the dart coming in his direction. But Grant pushed him out of the way. And the dart flew into his forearm. Grant fell to the ground. As Keenan and Jason got up they realized Grant was shot.

"Who shot that dart?"

Keenan asked.

Tony Williams started pushing through the crowd to get out of the dungeon. Abella caught sight of him.

"Tony!" She pointed towards him. Before Tony could get any farther, Angel took off and pushed him with her claws. She pinned him down, and kept him still on the ground.

Keenan looked where Angel had caught Tony red handed.

"I should've known you were going to try to prevent Jason from coming back."

"How could you trust him after he killed your wife?"

Tony yelled. Pointing at Grant.

Jason walked towards him.

"If you didn't know, Tony, he saved me and Lydia from being ripped to shreds by a dragon, and he wanted to make things right with the commander. Qualities that only a true night hunter would have. Now you, how could we trust a man that seeks revenge? No night hunter would kill one of his own." Tony was trying to think of something else he could say, but no ideas came. Abella showed him an angry look.

The poison in the dart had already started making Grant weaker. He was starting to lose consciousness.

"Grant!"

Everyone shouted.

"Brad, Abella please put Tony in that cell while Jason, Jeffrey, Lydia and I bring Grant to the infirmary to try and get that poison out of his arm." Tony was trying to wiggle out from under Angel's weight. Lydia asked Angel to lift herself up. And Brad and Abella grabbed Tony's arms. He was trying to shake them off like Grant did earlier, but Brad and Abella had a firm grip. They locked him in a cell. Jason, Jeffrey and commander Keenan were trying to help Grant up the stairs.

"It's no use Frank," Grant said almost out of breath. "I'm too heavy. To get me up all those stairs, impossible." Keenan let out a sigh. "Brad do you have any healing elixir left in your pockets?" Brad nodded and threw him a bottle of potion. Commander Keenan turned back to Grant. "This should slow the poison down until we try and figure this out." Keenan let a couple of drops fall on Grant's arm. After a few seconds, Grant's arm stopped burning. "Ok, Grant does the elixir help?" The commander asked.

"Yeah, it does. But how are you going to bring me up all those stairs?" Keenan looked towards the ground trying to figure out a solution. Suddenly Lydia's eyes lit up. "Maybe Angel could lift him."

Keenan nodded. "Angel come here girl." The griffin was happy to be useful. She walked towards the commander and Grant. The commander had an arm around Grant's and was keeping him from falling. Angel tried to grab him by the arms, but... "Ouch! Careful, that's where the dart hit me." So Angel flew a couple of feet in the air, and tried to grab him by his waist with her claws. She waited to see if Grant was going to whine some more but, he didn't. Angel was going to lift him. "Careful" Grant said again. The griffin was able to lift him from this position. She started flying up the stairs. Everybody followed. Jason turned around. "Wait, what about Tony? Shouldn't someone stay to watch him?" Everybody stared at Tony. He looked back at everyone else. "What? It's not like I'm going anywhere." The commander was making sure Angel had a good grip of Grant. "I think that the bars are strong enough to hold Tony." Lydia nodded. Grant looked a bit uncomfortable. Jeffrey looked at his face. "Guys I think we should hurry to bring Grant to the doctor, because the healing elixir won't last forever." The commander nodded. "Right, let's go Angel." Brad and Keenan stayed close in case Angel dropped Grant. Luckily, Angel was able to bring Grant up all the stairs. Everybody helped Grant get to an infirmary bed. "I think the healing elixir is wearing off, it's starting to burn again." He said. The commander went to get a doctor. Grant closed his eyes to rest. The doctor asked if she could speak alone with the commander. So Jason, Lydia, Brad, Jeffrey and Angel stepped out. "I hope Grant's arm will get better." Lydia told Jason. He was frowning. "What's wrong Jason? Aren't you glad that Grant is free because of you?" Brad asked him. Jason looked at him. Just then, the commander opened the door to come and join them. "What's happening dad? What are they going to do about his arm?" Lydia asked. The commander sighed. "There was a lot of poison in Grant's arm, so not even healing elixir is strong enough for that. So the doctors decided that they are going to amputate his arm." Jason looked upset. "It could take months for him to get used to that. How is he going to do things without his arm?" Brad put his hand on Jason shoulder. "We have good doctors Jason, I'm sure they can make a prosthetic forearm for Grant." Jason nodded.
