They should be here any minute. Boston texted me while I was in my last class of the day and told me they were on their way. I came straight home after class. I've cleaned the apartment, restocked my food, and have even found myself pacing the apartment. I'm so ready for them to be here.

My phone starts vibrating on the kitchen counter. I run over to check the phone number. It's the call box.

"Hello?" I say.

"It's us! Let us in chick!" Boston yells.

I press the keys on the phone to buzz them in. I can't take it. I grab my keys and run outside to meet them in the parking lot. Just as I make it to the parking lot, I see Boston's car come around the corner. It's a 2001 Red Honda Civic. It's in such poor condition; I'm surprised it even made it this far. She pulls into a parking spot and I see all of the doors open at the same time.

"Evy!" Boston yells and runs over to me.

She wraps her arms around me and gives me a tight hug. It hasn't been that long since I've seen her, but it feels good for her to be here. I look back at her car and see Zane and Mason walking towards me. Zane is tall and thin. He has dirty blonde hair that's styled with a faux hawk in the front and blue eyes. He's always been nice to me, although his allegiance probably lies with Gage since they are close friends. I look at Mason trailing behind Zane. He is different. Mason is also tall, but has more muscle definition. He has brown hair that's styled to be a little messy, but it's always kept back with a backwards hat. He has green eyes and goatee. I've always thought he was cute, but Gage and I quickly got together so I ridded myself of the thoughts.

"Hey Evy. It's pretty cool you living in Atlanta. I can come live with you and we could party all the time" Zane says and gives me a quick hug.

"I don't think so. I actually have things I need to do here" I say nicely.

As soon as Zane steps aside, I wrap my arms around Mason and give him a big hug.

"Hey Evy! I feel like it's been forever. I've missed you!" Mason says.

"I know! I've missed you too!" I say. "Come on. I'll show you all my apartment".

Since I met Boston, this has always been my group, with the exception of Gage and Liz. They all knew that I broke up with Gage and the reasoning behind it. Zane was sorry about what happened, but he and Gage have been friends for years. I knew he would take Gage's side before mine. Nevertheless, we've stayed friends, but I try to watch what I say around him. He can't keep any secrets. Mason on the other hand is different. Mason is also a friend to Gage, but was angry with what happened. He defended me and has been such a great friend. I can tell him and Boston anything and I know it'll stay between us. They are the two closest friends I have.

"Wow Evy. This is nice, but very small. Where are we all going to sleep?" Boston says walking around the apartment.

"Well, there's enough room if you want to sleep in my bed. I thought maybe one of the guys can take the couch and I have an air mattress for someone to have on the floor" I reply.

"That's cool. We're probably not going to be here that long anyway. I'm ready to see Atlanta" Zane says.

"Well, I found a cool place online when I was searching for things to do in Atlanta. It's a sports bar, restaurant, and it has an area for adult games. I think it's called "Tom and Jerry's". It's not far from here," Boston says.

We're all in agreement and decide to leave. None of us have eaten anything for dinner yet. I offer to take my car. Boston and I take the front seats and the guys take the back. On the way there, we roll the windows down and turn my music up all the way. I look around the car. All of us are singing as loud as we can. It feels so good to be this carefree. I wish they could come every weekend.
