Ghost's POV a year later

This past year I've been trying to get back on my feet have been hard but it's slowly getting better, Helping a killjoy here and a killjoy there

I sit and wonder everyday what life would be if none of this would've happened, What if Better Living never happened... If I didn't get my friends killed

I hated myself for that but I had to push it towards the back of my head and get through the day

I held onto my necklace and pushed back the tears as that day flew through my head

10 years ago

"Jade!" Gerard ran up behind me hugging me

I giggled "Your in a happy mood"

"Yup" he popped the P

"Oh I remember" I crossed my arms "Its someone's birthday"

He crossed his "how'd you know?"

I smiled "I don't know" I mocked "but seriously Happy birthday" I hugged him

"Thank you" he hugged back

I looked around "Hold on" I reached into my back pack and handed him the small wrapped box "Here"

He looked at it for a moment, he unwrapped it and opened it, inside was a small locket necklace with a picture of us inside "Holy shit, Thank you" he hugged me again

"Your welcome" I then pulled my out "Now we match"

Present Day

I closed the locket and sighed, I grabbed my bag and decided to go get a few things I needed

Party's POV

I drove the car down Route Guano, I just needed some fresh air and also the car was gonna need gas

Missile told us she's been running from Better Living all her life, she said she over heard them talk about how she needs to be killed and if not she'll take down Better Living but she doesn't know how, she's just a kid

As I pumped Gas into the car I remembered the good times me and the guys had with Jade, and how with Missile she reminds me so much of her, things haven't been easy but we managed

I got back into the car and just sat there, I wanted to run away but I couldn't do that, Something told me Ghost was out there and I had to find her... But I knew that was a lie

I pulled out of the gas station and headed back home

Ghost's POV

I walked for awhile till I found a gas station, it actually looks like someone was here not long before me

I set the bag down and started looking around for food, water and medical supplies

After I looked around and grabbed a few things as I was walking out I saw a magazine rack so I walked over and took a few

I walked back to my hideout and sat down, the sun was setting and Dracs were out and about, I popped open a soda and a power pup sitting down on the floor

Party's POV

"Your back!' Missile ran up hugging me

I chuckled "I take it you missed me?"

Ghoul walked over smiling "She wouldn't shut up" he took a drink of water

She stood there with a confused look on her face

I looked at her "What?"

She looked at Ghoul then back at me Are you guys dating?"

Ghoul spit out his water and looked at me "What the fuck?"

I shook my head "No no no no"

She put her hands on her hips "But I heard stories about you guys and that you were dating someone even said they saw you kissing"

"I think its time for you to go to bed" I pushed her inside

"I'm not even tired!" She whined
