You and Niall have been best friends for a long time now. You guys met at a premiere in London and got very close. You loved him as your best friend and he loved you as his best friend. And yes, people thought that you were dating (that's how close you guys were).

But after a few months that you and Niall became best of friends, you got a boyfriend. You and Y/BF/N have been dating for four months now, but your relationship with Niall grew apart a little. You guys didn't hang out a lot anymore and stuff.

You felt a bit guilty so you invited Niall and Harry to have dinner with you and Y/BF/N. You guys were seated and talked.

"So, how's the tour so far guys?" you asked Harry and Niall.

"Well ya know, busy but fun" Harry laughed.

Niall was quite quiet the whole time. You didn't really put much attention to it. You and Y/BF/N were all cuddly and Niall made a mocking cough every time you guys kissed.

"Hey Harry, I got my new parts for my car. Wanna check it out?" Y/BF/N asked Harry.

"Yeah man" They both stood up and your boyfriend gave you a quick kiss.

"What is wrong with you Niall?" you asked as soon as Y/BF/N and Harry walked out of the restaurant.

"Nothing, it's just that.... Ugh nothing, it's nothing really." Niall said and looked down at his food before eating again.

"Niall, we are suppose to be best friends, suppose to tell each other everything" you whispered, trying not to make it look like a big scene.

"Best friends? Hah, it's been a while since I heard that Y/N!" Niall laughed

"What do you mean? Yeah we backed up a little, not spending time, but can't you see that I'm trying here?" you got a little frustrated.

"Well next time don't bring your stupid fucking boyfriend, while you are trying to be best friends again!" And at his words, he stood up and walked out to the door. You ran up to up and soon caught up. Hmm, Y/BF/N and Harry isn't at the parking lot. They probably drove around in Y/BF/N's car.

"Niall!"

no answer

"Niall just fucking stop and talk to me!"

Niall turned around to face you, oh no, he looked mad, but kinda upset too....

"What do you want? If you want anything, ask your fucking boyfriend, cause that is his job to give you what you want!"

"What the hell Niall? Why won't you just tell me?  I can't fucking sniff what you wanna say!" you crossed your arms over your chess as Niall put his hands in his back jeans pocket.

"Because... I-I.... I can't tell you Y/N" his voice got lower and his expressions were soft.

"Why not Niall? We always used to be close and sticking together! Made people wonder if we were a couple and laugh at them when they thought we were, we used to hold hands in public making the media and fans confused, watch movies all night, going to bars and primiers. Don't you know how much I miss that?" you felt tears in your eyes.

"How do you think a felt these couple of months while you were out with your boyfriend, barely speaking to me or call me! You don't know how I felt when I lost my best friend over a guy that is going to hurt her and that I can take better care of her and love her with all me heart! You don't know how I fucking felt, and you never bothered to fucking ask!" Niall walked to his car, almost running. He got to his door and unlocked it before climbing in.

"Niall, I-I, I didn't know you felt bad or any-"

"Felt bad? Y/N I WAS FUCKING HEARTBROKEN!" he screamed.

"Why? What?" you were in total shock.

"Yeah Y/N. Me heart was broken when you got a boyfriend. Me heart was broken when you had your first kiss with him and not with me, me heart was broken when you left me behind, me heart was broken while you are in love him and and not with me!" he said, starting the car.

"Niall wait! Please don't go! Just let me in the car so we can talk please" you had sadness written all over your face, so he let you sit in the passenger seat, you both face each other.

"Why didn't you say anything before?"

"Because... Because I wanted you to be happy and I knew that I shouldn't have let him steal your heart. But I wanted you to be happy, so I let you go." he looked down, a bit disappointed and sad.

"Niall, you are such a loser, you know that?" you joked as you both giggled a bit.

"Yeah, a loser that loves you so much" And at that, Niall noticed what he just said

"Shit Y/N! I am sorry I didn't mean to say... Ugh I'm sorry" once again he looked down.

"You love me? For real?" you asked by surprise. "No one has ever told me that ya know. Y/BF/N never even told me that and we are together for four months now." you half laughed.

"Well then he is a stupid asshole!" he said serious.

"Niall!" you playfully slapped his arm. "But... what if I told you that maybe, just maybe I loved my best friend since day one?" you smirked at him, making him smile.

He leaned in and kissed you. Making you shiver from down your spine. Electric vibes going through your body. You never felt this feeling before, not even ever with Y/BF/N.

"I love you Y/N" Niall said while resting his forehead with yours.

"And I love you, loser" you joked and kissed him again.
