We eventually made it to a shop. It was abandoned. Taehyung and Jin decided to go in for supplies while Jungkook and I stayed in the car. It was decided that, that choice was best anyways. I assumed it was also because we were siblings after all. They need to stick together.

I looked around towards Jungkook. He was gripping his knife like it would be his last strength. He seemed paranoid as he stared intensely out the window. I felt that. It was nerve-wracking when being in this condition. Especially when the strengths of the spectral were unknown. I noticed that the doors were unlocked, so I decided to lock them. Just in case they knew how to unlock or something.

Jungkook grabbed my hand before I pressed the lock button on his door. We both exchanged looks of shock, but also worried. Who wouldn't be worried? It was only the two of us and there could be a lot that would happen. Luckily, there weren't any of the undead lurking near. Or that we knew of at least. If they were, our adrenaline would get the best of us.

[Jin POV]

We planned to be in this shop for a short amount of time. Hopefully everything would be visible before the disaster that was yet to come. Although he wasn't showing it, I noticed that Taehyung was nervous. After all, he did witness a feast. Honestly, he's lucky they didn't come for him. Very lucky.

"Do you like Minji?" Taehyung blurted.

"She's a sweet girl," I said reaching for an item.

"She's weird," he let out a giggle.

I looked at him with a frown. Minji wasn't weird compared to him. She was the only girl that really caught my attention. While other girls were focused on their love life and boys, she was focused on her education and enjoying life. At first I thought she just wanted to use me. Then our friendship began.

So do I like her? Of course. She makes my world go round. Even in this hell we call earth. I want to keep her safe. She deserves to be happy.

"What makes you bring up Minji?" I asked, "Do you like her or something."

His smile turned to a frown and his face went red, "No! She's a bad kisser."

"So you've," I cleared my throat, "kissed her?"

"It was a bet," Taehyung grabbed a wood plank.

"A bet that you enjoyed!" I teased.

"Let's get off this topic," Taehyung chuckled.

"Alright," I said.

I was a bit relieved. Taehyung picked a fight between himself and I. This wasn't just any typical punch and kick fight, but with our mental capacities. Something like homework I guess. More fancy to put it even. I closed my eyes and sighed. Once opening them, I saw that Taehyung was writing m+t like a little kid with his hand.

How ironic of him. Honestly, I would do the same. Maybe. Suddenly, something fell near the back of the store. Taehyung and I stopped dead our tracks and went quiet. A spectral?

[Minji POV]

Jungkook and I ducked down as we watched a few of them walk past. My heart was pounding, but my breath was slow. Who knew the actual strength of them anyway? I was worrying if they went inside the store. Hopefully not. Jungkook tapped my shoulder and pointed towards the store entrance.

It was Jin and Taehyung. They had a few things in their arms and were running. Taehyung was motioning to pop the trunk, so I looked for the button. There wasn't one.

Swiftly, I opened the door and got out. Next I tried to open the trunk with my knife. Dumb mistake. It broke. I grabbed the broken piece of the knife and pulled. I slit my fingers open, but ignored it. Once I got it out, I grabbed a bobby pin and remade it to fit the keyhole. Jin and Taehyung stopped behind me and anxiously waited.
