                  The End of the Beginning.
"Hana wait up!" I quickly turn around as Mingi grabs my shoulder.
"I knew you'd catch up," i say holding my head high as i continue forward. Mingi and i are mates in a couple college classes. We haven't known each other long but he's the only 'normal' person in either of them.
"Want to go study together?" the cheerful giant says to me.
"Uhhh sure why not." i follow next to him having small talk on our way to our favorite cafe to study at.
I live a very simple life i go to school and i go home. i'm originally from America but i wanted to learn more about my parents heritage so i moved to seoul for my study's.
I can be social and out going i'll talk to everyone in my classes but not hangout until Mingi came along. At first i was very cautious about him but i quickly learned that he's a very sweet and caring guy.
"Are you even in psychology?" i laugh at Mingi.
" No... i'm just researching for this project in English. We have to write an argumentative essay." i just nod my head and get back to work.
"Got any big plans tonight?"Mingi closes his laptop in front of me.
"If you call Netflix in bed big plans than yes," i say smiling at him. he leans over the table.
"Well if you're up for it some friends and i are going out for a drink."
     "I'm not sure."
"Oh come on Hana i'll buy first round and my friends are pretty hot," he winks at me.
"Fine only if you buy and drive me." i cross my arms.
"Deal!" i can't help but laugh at how excited he gets.

What the heck do i wear. I rarely ever go out. Do i dress nice, casual, comfy, ugh. It's felt likes hours of digging through my closet. Clothes with tags still on are strown across my bed.
"Just pick something already!" i hear Mingi yell from the living room. I stomp over to the doorway.
" You of all people should know i don't go out much!" i yell back aggressively.
" Do i have to do everything for you," he gets up and pushes past me. He rummages through the piles and hands me holey shorts a pastel pink bralet and a black long sleeve top.
"What shoes?" i ask and he just grunts.
"Here," he hands me my black platform sandals, " not too casual and not too dressy. Now change so we can leave," he pushes himself back out of my room.
"See this i why you shouldn't have invited me," i shout through the door as i struggle to pull the shorts up to my waist.
"This is exactly why i needed to invite you. You spend too much time alone you need to learn to go out," he has a point, i just feel bad he doesn't have to do this but he does.
"I'm ready," i walk into the living room and his face is full of excitement then quickly fades.
"Really. No makeup." he stands over me.
" I have on mascara now let's go," i use all my strength and try to push him to the door.
"This is why you don't have a boyfriend."
"Because i don't look fake?" i question him.
"No. You're stubborn." he looks me dead in the eye.
"Well no one is making you be my friend," i stop and turn from him.
"AHH!" I'm flip through the air as he tosses me over his shoulder. "Put me down!" i yell as i wiggles myself around.
"Not until we get there," i can feel him smirking at me.
"You are so weird. This is why none of your relationships work out. Everyone thinks we are dating." i say and he stops walking and puts me down.
"Really?" he says. At first i laugh until i realize that he's being serious.
"Yeah... has no one ever told you that?" i walk beside him.
"They say i don't pay enough attention to them ohhhh..... i spend more time with you than them." he comes to the truth on his own.
"So you help me get a boyfriend then your relationships will work out!" i wink at him trying to lighten the mood.
"That's going to be tough what guy wants to deal with your stubborn ass," he laughs at me and i shove him off the side walk.
"You're mean!"
"I know," he holds his head high and smiles.
"So i finally get to meet your apparently hot friends, are they single?" i nudge him.
"If you're wondering if any are your type then yes i know one you will love."
"Ohhh what's his name," i smile.
"I'm not telling you anything you have to find out on your own," he smirks and begins to walk faster.
"Please Mingi!" i speed up begging.
"Nope!" he goes faster.
"At least slow down!" i struggle to keep up.
"Ha ha slow poke!" he takes off running.
"Aish i hate you Song Mingi!" i go as quickly as my shoes let me down the city street doing my best not to get lost.

"About time," Mingi laughs as i pant and bend over holding my knees.
"I hate you," i glare up at him.
"You seem to say that a lot," he smiles as i playfully punch him.
"Last i remember you owe me a drink," i cross my arms at him.
"Only true thing you've said all night," we both laugh as he hooks his arm over my shoulder and pulls me into the dark night club.
Bright flashes of light and blaring music is the last thing i remember before it all goes black.
