Everything's Gonna Be Alright

"So all of you have been having Mario cart tournaments every night and never told me? What great friends you all are haha," I relax into the couch next to Yeosang.
"Well you know now, want to join?" Yeosang offers me his controller but I gentle push it away.
"You all got practice I don't feel like embarrassing myself tonight," I refuse but they all began to insist I play.
Eventually Mingi and Yunho picked me up off the couch and tossed me onto one of the beanbag chairs in front of the massive flat screen tv. Guess I don't have a choice. I ended up playing a few rounds never doing better than 3rd place.
"Maybe next time you wont fly off the edge as much," Yunho pats my head as I sit and pout.
"Wow thanks for making me feel better," I plop onto the large sectional near Wooyoung and sulk.
"They even went easy on you," Wooyoung shakes his head at me and begins to laugh.
"Why are all of you so mean!" a throw my nearest pillow at him but he easily catches it.
"We wouldn't mess with you if we didn't care about you," Woo's words causes a sigh to escape me. I sit up and grab a beer from the table.
"You are all idiots and the reason for my drinking problem," I raise my can up to them, "cheers," I groan before downing my poison.

"How can they all act so normal?" I softly say to Wooyoung as we watch the boys wrestle and goof around.
"Enjoying it while they can. This could be their last night to be like this."
"We need to talk about the deal, they cant keep avoiding it," I begin to stand up but he quickly grabs my wrist. I look back and raise my brow at him.
"Not tonight. Let them have this last night." I stair hard into Wooyoung's eyes, sizing him up. I look back to the others and I see their genuine smiles.
"Okay." He lets go and I sit back down.
"It's nice seeing them happy but also sad. They don't deserve to go through this," I sigh.
"I don't think that they'll be able to do it." I know exactly what he's implying, non of them are strong enough to do it, none of them could hurt another.
"They may not be like us but when i talked to Hongjoong about it he brought up Mingi how he'd do anything to keep me safe weather that means taking a bullet or sending them. I think they can do it, they will protect each other to the end. Some say love is a weakness but i say it can be the greatest weapon."
"That's what the KSPI underestimated. They thought losing our attachments would strengthen us. I mean it did but it also put a time bomb in us. Any moment and we can fall apart."
"Yeah..."
"How are San and Seonghwa?" he changes the subject thankfully, I'm not in the mood to get too deep tonight.
"Fine, I guess. They still don't want to trust anyone, especially Seonghwa..."
"Because of the stuff with Yunho then Zico?" my eyes widen when I hear him say that.
"You now what happened with Yunho?" I ask slightly panicked.
"Yes...? Yunho told him about the people who are behind all of this and Seonghwa didn't take it well," relief fills me. So only San knows what truly happened that night, it needs to stay that way.
"Yeah.. Do you think this will really end if we do it?" I turn and look to him, search him for any sort of answer.
"I don't know... Hopefully." He takes in a deep breath and slightly smiles to me.
"Hopefully..."

Seonghwa POV
"It's been almost an hour where is she?" I flip over and look to the clock on the nightstand. It's almost midnight.
"Want to go look for her?" San's voice echoes in from the bathroom. I roll off the bed and poke my head into the room as he washes his face off.
"Come on," I softly say to him after he sets down his towel.
We wander down the empty halls first checking the kitchen. San goes and peaks into the main living room and there's still no luck. The house is so quiet where could they be?
Eventually we make our way back to the stairs and go down towards the basement. Halfway down the sound of life begins to hit us. I turn the corner and see the guys laughing, drinking beer, and playing games. My eyes then fall on Hana.
She's sitting next to Wooyoung, they seem to e having a serios conversation I can tell by the look in her eyes, her brow slightly scrunched in full focus of every word leaving Wooyoung. She's beautiful.
"Hana!" My voice cuts through the room's chaotic energy like a knife. All eyes turn to me, I see her look to me with a shocked look then A pure soft smile grows across her face making my heart flutter.
"This old man wants to go to bed and he can't without you," San cuts in and his words shock me.

Hana POV

"No way! You all are playing Mario Cart?" San butts in and rushes into the room pushing past me. I make my way through the mess of controllers beer cans and empty chip bags covering the floor.
"Is everything okay?" I softly smile standing with him in the doorway. He raises his hand and brushes the hair from my face.
"I was just worried about you," I can see the worry in his eyes as his hand lingers brushing down my jaw.
"I'm fine," I smile and lightly laugh but his expression doesn't change.
"Something could have happened to you."
"Like what haha," I look around the room, "The only thing in here that could hurt me is the beer."
"You know what I mean Hana," he sighs.
"Why can't you at least try to trust them? I don't see any other option."
"For all we know they can be the ones behind this," he lowers his voice and gets close speaking sternly.
"We don't know that."
"Last time you trusted one of them you tried to kill yourself." I gasp at his words.
"Are you serious," I look away and rub my forehead, "Are you fucking serious!" I raise my voice drawing the others eyes. "Last I checked that was because of you. Why can't you trust me.
"I do trust you you-"
You didn't trust me about Hongjoong, or to talk to Yunho, or even to go get my own food. You never listen to me, you never listen to what I have to say."
"Hana," he softly says and tries to pull me out into the hall.
"No," I pull my arm back from him, "This was ours, my only night for things to feel normal but everything has to be about you doesn't it."
His blank stair looks down at me. I step close to him and look up into his deep eyes and loosely grab one of his hands.
"Seonghwa," I speak low so only he can hear me, "I love you, I love you so much but you need to learn that I'm my own person I have different eyes than you and I won't always be here right next to you. I am not you, I should compliment who you are," a silent tear rolls down his cheek. I turn to all the silent eyes stairing at us.
"Tomorrow 9 AM 2nd floor meeting room," I sternly say across the room then turn back to hwa and smile up to him and lock my hand into his, "Let's go to bed."

Seonghwa closes the door behind us as we make it into our room and he quickly wraps his arms around me. He pulls me into his warmth, I can hear his heart racing and his body shaking beneath me.
I love you Hana, I'm so sorry I didn't know I'm so sorry," his frantic words barely audible fill my head. I slightly pull from him and look at his pained eyes and just smile at him.
"Wha-what," he softly says confused. I put my hands on either side of his face and pull him towards me and gently put his lips on mine.
"I love you Park Seonghwa. Everythings gonna be alright."

Together we lay in the oversized bed wrapped in each others arms in the immense sea of sheets, our soft breaths being the only sound. A moment to cherish, a moment of pure innocent peace.
