Tall Drink of Water

Seonghwa POV

I stand staring at the door that was shut in my face. Slowly yet all at once everything hits me. I take a couple steps back and turn back into the living room.

"Sh*t," I slump onto the couch as San watches with wide eyes.

"I know," he sighs next to me.

"We went too far, way to far," I grab a pillow and scream into it.

"Yep."

"I'm such an idiot!I didn't mean to go that far damn it! Why am I like this," I grunt.

"She'll come back don't worry you didn't ruin it." he gently pats my back but I quickly stand avoiding it.

"What if I did ruin it! First day back and its already f**ked up! Why did she have to bring up Joong," I grab the glass on the coffee table and chunk it at the wall, "AGH!"

"Seonghwa!" San grabs my arm flipping me to him and smacks me across the face. I take a step away in shock.

"Get a hold of yourself man! Acting like this is going to ruin it all geez. Yunho went with them it will all be okay just relax stop acting like a child." he knocks some sense into me.

"If any of them try anything I'm ripping their dicks off she's mine."

I sit back and try to let my body relax but it remains tense. Did I push her too far? Will she come back or do I need to go after her.

Time will be the only thing to tell. Tomorrow we have our first meeting with the officials. I will get my answer then but so far things aren't looking so good.

Pray that I'm wrong that I didn't destroy it.

I don't want to go down that road. Not this early.

Hana POV

I follow the two boys into the apartment. My head hangs low as I close the door behind us. We set the groceries on the counter and hear loud steps down the stairs.

"Where the hell have you two been!" A loud angry Mingi busts into the room. I turn and glare at him before returning to my duty.

"We went out," Hongjoong shrugs his shoulders.

"Obviously! Why didn't you tell me or answer the phone!" Mingi's father like rage only grows stronger.

"You were asleep and I always ignore your calls," normally I would laugh and add on but the weight of what happened earlier is taking a toll on me.

"I nearly called the police she was supposed to go to the doctor this morning!" I look up at Mingi's words.

"What?" I step closer to him questioning.

"You were called to go see a specialist to evaluate you and stuff. See what damage was taken," I let out a low laugh.

"More damage than you imagine," I slam the fridge door shut.

"Why didn't you tell us that before?" Joong backs me up.

"I didn't know earlier they called me!"

"You could've texting me saying 911!"

"I shouldn't have to you should just answer!"

"Hey," I jump at the sudden voice behind me, "come on." I follow Yunho out into the living room as the two continue to fight.

I sit on the blanket covered sectional tosses my knees to my chest. Yunho takes a seat on the floor close by and stretches out his long legs.

"Why are you on the floor?" softly I question him.

"I don't know," he looks back to me with his puppy face.

"Have we met before?"
"Just that night as far as i know," he sighs turning away from me.
"That's what i guess. I apologize if i did anything stupid in front of you," sincerely i say to him.
"Do you remember?" he turns half around resting his arms on the couch.
"No i've just been told or shown the dumb things i did. "
"Well from what i was told when you turned Joong down you saw me and said and i quote, 'he's tall enough to ride this ride'." his face turns red as he's embarrassed and holding back his laugh and i cover my burning face.
"I'm such an idiot i'm sorry!" i say hiding behind my hands.
"That's not even the best part," his easily excited face.
"Oh my god what did i do," we scoot closer to each other. Honestly we probably look like gossiping school girls.
He wipes his face trying to keep from smiling too much his giddiness getting the best of him.
"So you came up and tugged at my shirt from behind and motioned for me to bend over a bit for you . So I do and you says, 'you know it's been a while since I climbed a tree.' My first thought was what the shit is she talking about when suddenly as I'm still leaned over you jump on my back and shimmies your way up till you're sitting on my shoulders. Then say that you're not getting down but if I want to walk you over to the bar you'd  buy us both a drink."
I bust out laughing tears begin to fill my eyes. I cover my mouth and Just imagining me doing that hurts. Our sudden actions draw in a crowd.
"What's going on!" Joong shouts at us. Yunho rolls across the floor laughing.
"Hana are you okay!" Mingi notices my tears and wipe them with my hands.
"Yeah haha!" I continue to laugh while they look to us in confusion.
"What did you do to her?" the two lost boys look to the puppy on the floor. He sits up his face and ears still red.
"I told her what she did that night," Yunho tells Hongjoong and his face turn solid red as he quickly looks to me and back to Yunho then turns to walk out.
"HAHAHAHA!" We bust out laughing again and fall from the couch head first and slide next to Yunho.
"You two are weird,"Mingi gives us a weird look, "but it's good to see you smiling and laughing," he smiles and walks out.
"I think we will get along great," I smile to the golden retriever next to me. He cheekily grins back to me.
"Me too."
