Gang Rivalry

~ Character Introduction ~

Betty's P.O.V

I'm Betty Cooper, the Princess of the South Side Serpents. I'm the scary girl at High School that no-one wants to mess with. I dress in black, edgy clothes that tell people to back off, so I don't have to. This is me:

 My Dad, Hal Cooper, and Mom, Alice Cooper, are Serpent King and Queen. So basically South Side royalty, except I'm not. No one knows about me being a Serpent or having anything to do with the Serpents. My Dad wants it that way until I graduate, so I'm not a target for any other gangs at school. 

Did I mention I go to a shitty school? Well, I do. South Side High. A place filled with gangs and drugs and more gangs. Riverdale has three main gangs, and they all occupy the South Side, these being the South Side Serpents, the Ghoulies and the Gargoyles.

At least at this horrible school I have my two best friends Toni Topaz and Veronica Lodge to be by my side.

Toni's P.O.V

I'm Toni Topaz, a South Side Serpent and best friends with the Princess. Being best friends with Betty and Veronica means we're like the queens of the school. We're all feared by everyone, even if we're not allowed to wear our Serpent jackets to school, we still wear dark clothes and look frightening. This is me:

Veronica's P.O.V

I'm Veronica Lodge, born Northsider, but moved to the South Side before anyone could remember I attended school there until 3rd Grade. I'm best friends with Betty and Toni, and we all go around South Side High like we own it, but not letting them know we're Serpents. If the students there find out we're Serpents, the Ghoulies there will come after us, and there are no-where near enough of us at school to take them on. Anyway, this is me:

Jughead's P.O.V

I'm Jughead Jones, King of the Ghoulies. I attend the shitty school they call South Side High, and I run that place like my own. Everyone's scared of me or at least intimidated by me. Just the look of me is scary, look at me and say I'm not intimidating:

My Dad, FP Jones, gave me the title of Ghoulie King at the start of summer and has been teaching me everything I need to know about leading this gang. The main lesson to learn has been not to mess with the other gangs, as if I'm going to associate with them. 

This school year is going to be more fun than normal, scaring everyone with just the look of my jacket and my best friends Archie Andrews and Cheryl Blossom.

Archie's P.O.V

I'm Archie Andrews, a Ghoulie by blood and best friends with Cheryl Blossom, and our new King, Jughead Jones. Being Ghoulie by blood means my parents were Ghoulies too, and my parents are best friends with the former King and Queen. Growing up a Ghoulie also means I am feared by a lot of people, especially looking intimidating like this:

Cheryl's P.O.V

I'm Cheryl Blossom, a Ghoulie. I'm not Ghoulie by blood, I met my best friends Archie and Jughead when I was 13 and joined the Ghoulies when I was 15. I grew up on the South Side of town but went to school on the Northside until I started high school when I was 14. I've always been a South-Sider at heart, so I deeply hated school on the Northside. This is me:

This chapter/prologue was just an introduction to the characters and a little bit about their past. The main storyline is Bughead so most of the P.O.V's will be in Betty or Jugheads.

This is also the first book I've ever written so enjoy :)
