They rode off on their motorbikes, while I just watched. They rode out of sight and I turned to Cheryl and Archie. Archie didn't know the full story, so he looked a bit confused, but Cheryl knew everything so she contributed more to the conversation than Archie.
*Archie, Cheryl, Jughead*
"A Serpent. A fucking Serpent." I muttered to myself.
"What are you gonna do now?"
"Well I don't know. She may be a Serpent but I still like her."
"But what would happen if the Ghoulie King suddenly starts dating a Serpent?"
"That's the thing. We could both be in danger from each other's gangs."
"I say still go for it. Romeo and Juliet style." She paused for a moment before continuing her sentence, "But with the happy ending."
"But what if-" Archie immediately cut me off and started agreeing with Cheryl.
"DUDE! You're obviously so whipped. Who cares about the gangs. Just go for it!"
"You guys are right." I paused for a moment, a smirk growing on my face. "But first, WE SWIM!" I finished that last one while running and jumping into the river.
"Woohoo!" Cheryl shouted as she jumped in after me, wearing her signature colour red in a bikini,and was soon followed by Archie, doing a front flip as he jumped in.

"Yeah!" He shouted once he resurfaced and started splashing us. We swam for a decent hour until we finally got out. We got dressed, putting our original clothes over our bathers. We walked to our motorcycles, hopped on them and rode to Pop's to hang out for the next couple hours.
Betty's P.O.V
We got to the waterfall, immediately dropping our stuff, taking our clothes off, leaving us in our bikinis. We started running to climb to the top of the waterfall. Reaching the top, we linked hands and were getting ready to jump off the waterfall for probably the 1000th time.
*Betty, Toni, Veronica*
"Ok guys, on three." Toni said.
"One." I started counting.
"Two." Veronica continued.
"THREE!" We shouted in unison and jumped off the waterfall into the swimming hole. We splashed around for a bit and just acted like complete children chasing each other, basically re-living when we came up here with our families when we were younger. After a decent half an hour of doing this, we started relaxing around, keeping ourselves afloat without any effort.
"Well, we finally met Jughead Jones, I guess." Toni started, then Veronica continued.
"And my god B, he is HOT! You have to go for this guy." Veronica seemed eager to talk about Jughead.
"Ugh. As if. He's the Ghoulie King. Plus he's never gonna be into me." I muttered the last part hoping they wouldn't, but they did because they responded immediately.
"OMG! B, are you serious? Did you see the way he was just flirting with you!" Toni shrieked so loud I saw a couple birds fly out of the trees surrounding us.
"Like seriously B. He's so into you! And I think you might be into him!" Veronica got very excited after her last comment. I started blushing a little bit, which made both Veronica and Toni scream like kids waking up on Christmas morning.
"Can we just get out and go to Pop's already." I said trying to change the subject.
"Sure B, just know you are not escaping this conversation anytime soon. I may not be sleeping over tonight but when I do we are going into an in-depth girl talk about this guy." Toni was nodding along with her, so I just laughed and shook my head.
"Whatever V, let's go." We hopped on our motorbikes and drove all the way to Pop's. When we got there we saw Jughead, Cheryl and Archie sitting in a booth drinking milkshakes, and I decided to go sit in their booth with them.
Jughead's P.O.V
We were sitting in a booth at Pop's when the bell signalling someone walking through the door went off. I didn't pay any attention, but then suddenly there was Elizabeth sitting next to me, followed closely behind the raven-haired girl and pink-haired girl. The girl with raven hair sat next to Elizabeth and the pink-haired girl sat next to Cheryl.
*Archie, Betty, Cheryl, Jughead, Toni, Veronica*
"Ok so here's the deal." She said quickly, with her voice lowered a little bit, but loud enough for all of us to hear and recognise the authority in her tone. "You're not going to tell anyone we're Serpents-" Archie quickly cut off what she was saying.
"And why not." If I'm being honest, none of us had any intention to let word loose that these three were Serpents, but I could see the look of curiosity on Archie's face.
"Well I know you wouldn't believe the act we put on, so we're just gonna say it." The pink-haired one said.
"No one has to know, for our safety." The raven-haired one continued, then Elizabeth finished off their combined sentence by saying,
"And if you spill, it'll be for your safety too." They were about to get up and go into a different booth when she suddenly said, "Oh, and by the way. The girl with the pink hair here, that's Toni. And this is Veronica."
"See you around, Princess." I said as she got up. They walked out of our booth and into another one on the other side of the diner before any of us could say another word.
"Jones has got a crush! Awww!" Cheryl teased but said in awe at the same time.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever." We stayed in that booth talking for another hour until we finally decided to leave. I took one last look at Elizabeth before we walked out of the diner, ready for the day ahead of me tomorrow.
