Three weeks have passed since Betty and I had started becoming friends and since I found out she's a Serpent. We mess around in Chemistry most of the time, and we even say hey to each other when we walk past in the hall. We're becoming good friends, and I've started to realise my feelings for her are real. I like Betty Smith. She would never like me though. I'm the Ghoulie King. All she could ever see me as is a friend.
I am disrupted from my thoughts by my alarm. I guess I woke up before it today. I got up, had a shower, got dressed, had breakfast and left to go to Archie's house. I knocked on his door, signaling I was here and ready to walk to school. He opened the door, saying goodbye to his dad and we walked to school.

We walked to Cheryl's house, arriving at 7:40 and knocking on her door. She walked out pretty quickly, and I'm assuming it's because of her mother again, so we walked swiftly to the end of the street, then we started talking.

"So Cher, how you doing?"
"Yeah you ok? You walked out pretty fast."
"Not really, my mom got back last night so all hell has broken loose. I wish I could just live with my dad."
"It'll get better Cher. We're graduating in less than a year. You turn 18 a few months after we graduate. You can move out the day you turn 18."
"Yeah, I'll just have to deal with it until then I guess." She seemed pretty down so I decided to add something more sincere to what Archie said.
"Cheryl. We're always here if you need. You can always stay at one of our houses if you ever need a break for a night or even a week. We're here for you."
"Thanks, guys. Never thought I'd be the one to turn you soft Jug. Or is it that Elizabeth Smith?" She giggled and I rolled my eyes.
