Chapter Twenty Four

Regulation cat suit up top. The heels aren't the regulation ones but I can't find a good picture for those. I got the idea of talking collars from another book called I'm a Cyborg's pet. Credit goes to them or wherever they got it from.

Mom has been crazy busy and barely home. She's always at work formatting the new laws, having tons of meetings with the courts to see which ones fit best. It was nearly 3am and I was on my bed wrapped up in my blanket and scrolling through the document that Mom has sent me. They've finished the new laws and regulations and were going to announce them to the public in a few hours.

New Pet Laws and Regulations of 2054

New Laws:

1. All Pets must be accompanied by an Owner at all times. Any pet (With or Without necklace) caught without an owner will be put in prison for up to 5 days, punished, and the owner fined

2. Owners are required to have some form of tracking device on all pets unless the marriage law overrides it.

3. Any pet caught escaping will be publicly punished and then retired. No exceptions.

4. Leashes must be worn at all times in public. Failure to comply will result in a fine and you will be forced to pay for one from any shop nearby.

New Regulations:

1. All female pets are required to wear the black catsuits and heels no shorter than 3 inches that have been newly released. Dresses are only reserved for special events. Random checks will be conducted. If caught owner will be fined and the pet will be punished.

2. All Male pets have been retired and are no longer allowed to be owned on this island. They are only kept for breeding purposes and can only be rented for a maximum of two weeks.

3. When a new collar comes out you are required to upgrade. The previous collar will be scrapped.

4. As of now, all pets must go through basic training and a minimum of one week of training. The maximum is two months

I raised an eyebrow at the 2nd regulation. No more male pets unless you're breeding? I guess females are easier to regulate. Erika will be pissed when she figures out she'll have to wear a catsuit. Jasmine will probably tolerate it. I glanced over at the other side of the bed where she laid asleep. Mom and Mother had given her her punishment and then let her come back and sleep with me. I decided not to send her to a training school, but upped all her punishments to level fives. She was currently wearing the blue nightgown I had bought her her first day here. I closed my laptop and walked over my desk to put it on there. Then I climbed in bed and tried to fall asleep.

Pet?

Maya has pretty much ignored me for the past week. Yesterday she sent me some document about the new stuff on the new laptop I had bought myself. Well, with her money. Our money. Reading over it made me upset. I avoided having to wear a tracking bracelet since I was married to her and everything else since I wasn't a pet anymore. I got up from the bed and went to the kitchen, opening the fridge and pulled out a bottle of Tequila.

This seems like a really bad idea.

I've seen Maya drink before but she's never offered me any. I took off the cap and poured myself a glass, downing it in one go. It tasted oddly good and I went to pour myself another. Then another. All my problems seemed to slowly drift away. I didn't hear the elevator or the footsteps.
