Chapter Twenty Eight

I actually think this book will be longer than Bound and Broken! 😅❤️ Master Bedroom up top. Erika's bed is in the corner. Pretty much the whole house has that color scheme.

Samantha's POV:

After school I took Erika to see the new house. She was still sore and sour about yesterday and refused to mention any of it. When we got back home last night it was late and she'd immediately went to sleep. I let her be, choosing to instead look through random sites. I eventually pulled up the website where I got her Cat Ears. This kind came in only a couple colors unfortunately, but there was a silver pair coming out soon that still had all the same features plus a color changing one. I made a mental note to order it for her.

The house was fully furnished already and two of my cars had already been moved here. I let Erika off her leash to explore as I talked to the seller about the monthly payments. The grand total a month was nearly twice the price of her, plus a couple thousands. The seller told me that we had to move in by tomorrow or she'll assume I wouldn't want it and sell it to another person. After a long conversation with her about the house I went off to find my straying pet. I found her in the Master bedroom, sitting on her bed. The space was pretty big, plenty of room for all of my stuff. The bed was large too. I was very pleased with this house.

"So how do you like it?" I asked, sitting on the bed across from her. She was busy looking at the stuff on the shelves in the corner of her bed.

"It's... great. I get my own bed. And corner. Hey did you put a wireless charging device in literally every freaken room? Because every room I walked into my collar would ask me to connect to it and tell me what percentage I had left. Well, except the bathrooms" She replied.

"Yep." I said, nodding. "I didn't want you to end up being stuck in my room when your collar gets low like at my parents house. If you're good for a couple days I'll think about buying you your own iPad that you can use, without needing to connect it to your collar. That feature only works with mine anyways.". She actually smiled.

"Least I won't be like Jasmine now. Speaking of which when are we gonna actually move in here? On the first day can I swim? It would be really cool if I could swim" She said, getting up and walking over to the large window straight across from her bed. It had a perfect view of the huge swimming pool. The hot tub was tucked away on the porch along with a porch swing.

"If it's not cold, sure you can. By the way, when we move here I'll get you some toys. Since you enjoyed your time with Penny I assumed you would like some more" I replied. Erika whipped around, her blue eyes narrowed with anger.

"What? No! Why?! No I don't want any!" She protested. I chuckled.

"Come on, just admit it" I said, standing up and walking over to her. She backed up, jumping as her back hit the window sill. I ran a hand down her face. "You likes it. Don't be shy about it Kitten".

Erika pushed me back, stomping over to the door. She paused at the doorway and sighed.

"Can we leave now? The house is cool Whoopti do" She snapped. I picked up my keys from the bed and nodded, attaching her leash back on and leading the way out downstairs.

(Time Skip)

At Dinner I explained to Mom and Mother that today would be my last night sleeping there. Mother made cookies and Mom gave me a nice housewarming gift, a new laptop. This was the latest MacBook and of course it was white to match the color scheme of the house. Mother looked upset hearing I was leaving, but I happily explained to her that my new house was closer to her job so she could stop by and see me. She was ecstatic.
