Welcome to the Bound and Broken Book 2 Fun Facts. This one is also late, but let's just get right on into it shall we 🤪

1. Samantha was originally going to have a little brother, but as you know from the first book Maya ordered for the boy to be terminated

2. Erika was actually a brunette with blue eyes before, but I changed her hair color to red instead for the better picture in Characters

3. Erika was originally going to escape off the island then get killed by poisoning two years later by an unknown person. The person would be revealed to be Sky in the third book, still angry with the death of her daughter

4. Erika was originally going to get caught trying to get away in the very first original ending and after being taken to the police station, be killed by lethal injection by Maya while Sky stood by and watched, with zero sympathy.

5. Eve and a handful of other pets were going to be turned into enhanced controlled superhuman bodyguards, but I scraped the idea since I didn't like it too much and this book isn't Sci-Fi

6. Samantha was going to look a lot more like Zach, therefore being a painful reminder to Sky of the pet boy who was forced to impregnate her

7. I planned for Sky to see Zach again eventually, but I changed the idea and he might show up in the 3rd book. I'm still working on the details for that.

8. Samantha's, Maya's, and Sky's Birthdays were all in the same month and I ended up forgetting about it multiple times. Which is why you never see Maya or Sky celebrating their birthdays.

9. Erika's birthday was actually going to take place in a banquet hall with the other pets she made friends with, including Eve. But I scraped that idea simply because there weren't enough of the other pets that I considered to be her friends.

10. Samantha's death was actually going to be from blood loss due to being stabbed, but I changed it to a pillow smothering after I saw it as too gore-y

11. In Ending A, Erika was going to get into a fight with both Samantha and Rick. She'd get stabbed in the side and Samantha would get stabbed in the eye, while Rick would land wrong and end up snapping his neck on the counter. Samantha was going to live and retire Erika after she's deemed too dangerous to control and she'd receive a new red headed girl. Again, didn't like this one because of gore factor and the fact that Erika does get retired

12. Erika's favorite color would actually of been black, not blue. But that changed.

13. I was going to make Samantha or Erika suffer from some form of Mental Illness, but I didn't want to offend anyone or get anything incorrect so I scrapped it.
