Erika's POV:

I groaned when my collar shocked me awake to a message from Samantha.

'Your Owner is urgently calling you. Go to Mistress' my collar said.

"Hey Siri. Where is my Mistress?" I asked Siri as I sat up. My stomach growled, I was starving.

'Your Owner is located in the House Office. Do not Disturb is not enabled and you are free to leave the room' My collar replied. I stood up and stretched. This house has an office? I got up and changed into a black catsuit but left off the heels. Padding out of the room, I went down the the double doors at the end of the hallway which I assumed was the Office. I asked Siri for Confirmation.

"Hey Siri is this the office?" I said, pushing the door. It was locked. I frowned. That's weird.

'This is a restricted room. Please move away from the doors or punishment will be applied and your Owner will be contacted' it said back. I stepped back a couple paces. So that wasn't the office. I decided to give up on finding it after exploring the entire top floor and just went downstairs. Going near the front door and the back door made Siri flip the fuck out and when I didn't move away fast enough my collar gave me a level three shock. I gave up and just tried going to the kitchen.

'Warning. This is a restricted room. Entering will be result in continuous level four shocks until you leave'. That really pissed me off. She restricted me from going to the kitchen?! I stomped over to the living room and sat on the couch, crossing my arms. Fuck it.

"Hey Siri, Message Mistress 'where the heck are you'." I said.

'Sending message 'where the heck are you' to Mistress. Message failed. Reason: Outdated collar. Please upgrade collar to send message'

You have got to be fucken kidding me.

I tried multiple other apps but the only ones that worked were YouTube and that information folder thingie. Even google told me to update my collar. I stood up and rolled my eyes. I went past the kitchen to a whole other section of the house I never explored and found another set of double doors. Siri confirmed this was the office.

Here goes nothing.

I threw open the door and walked in, revealing Samantha sitting at a large desk with papers all over. She looked up when I came in and sighed.

"Took you long enough" She commented with a smile. I rolled my eyes and sat down on the couch across the room.

"I tried to text you but apparently I need an upgraded collar since some of the messaging stuff and other stuff changed" I explained. She smiled, then looked up.

"Well—Hey! Off the furniture! I have pillows for you right there!" She snapped, pointing to two very large pillows lying right up against the wall tucked away. I swallowed my anger down and just got up, settling down on the pillow instead. No point in arguing.

"I have a business partner coming here tonight. Be on your best behavior because I can and will punish you right in front of him." She said. I nodded.

"Yes Mistress" I grumbled just loud enough for her to hear. She reached out and patted my head.

"Good Girl. Don't worry, he's bringing his pet too. And when I'm done with these payments we'll go to get your upgrade okay?" She said.

"Yes Mistress"

She spent the next 20 or so minutes typing on her laptop, signing papers, and putting things in envelopes. I just laid there, trying to not fall asleep. She finally finished and grabbed my leash to clip it to my collar.

"Alright lets go. Time for an upgrade" She said, standing up. I scrambled to my feet after her.

Samantha's POV:

I watched as the worker used a Bobby pin to open the update port, placing the Collar Upgrade inside and closing it. Erika looked nervous as her collar got rebooted.

'Welcome to Collar R6G Update 1.5. Added: Collar Pay Feature, Level 8 Punishment Shock, Level 9 Punishment Shock, Level 10 Punishment Shock, Better headpiece resolution and Comes with the R6GS Cat Ears Headband. A premium data plan was already purchased for this collar. Battery life has been extended by nearly 13% percent. Please check the R6G collar app to set up Collar Pay' Said the message that popped up on my phone. I glanced at the worker.

"Two questions. Where's the headband thing and what's Collar Pay?" I asked. She quickly handed me the box. I rolled my eyes and unpacked it, revealing the Cat Ears. I reached out and placed them on Erika's head.

"The collar has connected to them and will remain connected until the Cat Ears die. They can also be charged by the wireless charging device, which receives an automatic island-wide update to support the new collar update." She explained, tapping something on her iPad.

"That's nice. What's Collar Pay?" I asked. She smiled at me.

"Collar Pay is a brand new feature in which you can add your PayPal account to your pet's collar. All she has to do is put her bracelet onto a scanning pad that all stores have and it will ask you to confirm the purchase. If you do it will deduct the amount paid from your account and deposit it to the store's account" She explained. Fancy. I went on my phone to get that set up quick.

"Thank You. What's the total?" I asked. She replied with a very high number that made Erika's eyes widen. I smirked and tugged her leash, making her jump off the table. I gestured to the black pad next to the register. She put her wrist on it. Seconds later my phone dinged with a message that she was trying to purchase a collar upgrade. I confirmed it and her bracelet flashed green. She took it off the pad.

"Thank you for purchasing! Have a nice day" The worker told me. I nodded and checked the time. Shit, in half an hour my business partner would be coming to meet me. I tugged Erika's leash and hurried out of the store to my car.

"What's wrong?" She asked, climbing in the back of the car while I got in the drivers seat. I sighed and adjusted the rear view mirror.

"My business partner is coming soon. Gotta get ready" I replied. Then I started the car and sped home.

(Time Skip)

Erika's POV:

I heard someone ring the doorbell and sat up, which caused Samantha to look up as well. She looked down at me for a second, then stood up and walked over to the doors and threw them open.

"Best behavior pet. This is important. Maybe I'll give you a reward. Only if you're good though" She warned. I nodded and she left to answer the door.

"Hello! How are you?" I heard her say after she opened the door. Two sets of footsteps entered the house, one wearing heels. Then I heard the man's voice.

"Hello Miss Redd. I've been well. Me and my pet became a little late because of well..we lost track of time" He said. Samantha laughed along with him.

"Right this way" She said. I heard their footsteps approaching and dropped my gaze to the carpeted floor to be respectful. I heard the man sit down on the couch while his pet took the floor.

"And this must be Erika! She's very pretty" He said. I blushed, resisting the urge to look up.

"Thank you. Yes. She's a bit tired right now. The collar upgrade took longer then I thought and neither of us have had dinner. So let's keep this moving" She said in response. Her voice was tight with agitation and I glanced up for a second to figure out why.

The man had surfer blonde hair and was wearing a suit. His pet was sitting on the floor wearing a pink version of the regulation catsuit. She had blonde hair that was currently covering her face due to the fact that she was looking down. Her owner tugged her leash. Why does she seem so familiar?

"Meet her pet babygirl" He said. She looked up. Then her eyes met mine. We both gasped.

It was Eve.
