"Does Sammy mean I'm not the baby anymore?" Chloe asked concerned as she stood in the kitchen as lance was making dinner.
"Your still the youngest girl," lance chuckled.
"But I'm not your baby anymore," Chloe frowned.
"What?" Lance looked at her confused as Chloe was pouting with her arms crossed and bottom lip sticking out.
"Because Sam is the baby I'm not, I liked it better when I was your baby," Chloe shot as she was clearly upset but refused to cry.
"Chlo, your always going to be my baby," lance smiled gently crouching down to her as he placed his hand on her head and gently brushed her hair out of her face.
"No matter how old you get, or how many other accidents pop out from Maria, not going to change that your my baby girl, got it babes?" Lance smirked as he docked her forehead and looked at his baby sister.
"Even with Sam being the baby?" Chloe asked slowly.
"He's just a baby, doesn't mean he's my baby like you are," he explained and chloe seemed to understand as she glared at Sam who was playing with Dani in the living room.
"I think sams going to be Dani's baby," she smiled now. Lance looked over at his sister and new brother and smiled gently as well. Dani hasn't yelled, stormed off or anything yet, she's taken care of Sam so far in the day, playing with him or letting him sleep.
"I was a little younger when than her when you came around, could be possible," he snorted.
"Like your Veronica's baby?" Chloe asked curiously. Lance paused for a moment as he knew it's been days since he's seen any of his older siblings. Luis hasn't even checked on him yet...
"Yea I guess," lance forced a smile for her as Chloe beamed brightly.
"Hello my babies!" Maria walked in as all the kids looked at her and lance turned off the stove for the Mac and cheese.
"Mom?" Milo got up from the couch as he backed away.
"Oh my mijo and mija aren't you so big!" Maria squealed as she hugged Milo tightly as his eyes were wide in horror and Dani held Sam who just looked around.
"Here," Dani forced Maria to hold her son once again and grabbed Milo to hide him behind her. Lance picked up Chloe as she buried her face in his chest, peaking up a little.
Maria looked at Chloe wide eyes as she seemed a little heart broken seeing her daughter, a daughter that didn't even know her, that she hasn't seen in years.
"Chloe," she smiled sadly as she put Sam in the crib and walked to her daughter in Lances arms.
Chloe seemed even scared as Maria tried to pull her from lances arms to hug her happily but lance didn't let go and Chloe had an iron grip with her arms around Lances neck.
"No," she shook her head as Lances looked at his sister worried but didn't fight it.
"Aw Chloe it's me, your mommy, your mama," Maria giggled brushing her hair off her neck but lance put Chloe down and lead her behind him.
"Did you get any applications?" Lance asked hiding his baby sister behind him as he pulled Milo and Dani closer.
"I did, and here's some money to start," Maria pulled out a roll of 20's and held it out for lance with a smile.
"Where'd you get the money all of a sudden? Thought you had nothing," Lance eyed the cash but didn't take it.
"I have my own ways button, money is money right?" Maria shrugged smirking as she set it on the table.
