"What was the plane like for you?" Chloe asked as lance was tying her shoes while she sat on the counter. She wore a yellow dress with a loose sweater for the plane ride ahead, trying to stay comfortable.

"It was scary," lance smiled. "But if you hold someone's hand it's not so bad, once we get above the clouds it's really pretty,"

"Really?" Chloe gasped excitedly.

"I'll let you even have the window seat princesa," lance beamed up at her. Chloe giggled nodding, she'd always trust her big brother.

"Also when your ears pop you have to swallow like this," lance showed her as he closed his eyes.

"Your ears pop?" She asked jumping off the counter as all their luggage was in the kitchen and ready to go.

"Air pressure, Its different on a plane," he nodded grasping her small hand in his as Dani and Milo came down with their suitcases packed.

"Ready!" Milo jumped the last stair and Dani rolled her eyes.

"You guys ready to start a new life? No more Chicago for a little?" Lance asked as he tucked milos shirt tag in and adjusted his brothers cap on his head.

"Chicago is fine but I want to fly the plane!" Milo snickered as the two girls looked at each other unamused.

"I'll stick you with the luggage than ever let you fly a plane," lance flicked his hat as Milo pouted a little.

"Yea were ready to leave, it'll be more fun with just the four of us, no dead weight anymore," Dani put on a hoodie and grabbed her backpack from the floor.

"Your leaving now?"

They turned surprised seeing Allura, shiro, hunk, Pidge and Keith. Lance swallowed a lump in his throat looking at keith.

"We didn't want it to be a big deal, I was going to call you tonight, when we land," lance looked down a little as he touched the bandage on his cheek with his healing sprained wrist, he wasn't suppose to carry anything with his other arm since the bullet wound wasn't healed.

"Damn man, I was going to bake you a snack for the plane ride," hunk teared up.

"So that's it? No good bye?" Keith crossed his arms. Lances eyes widen slightly.

"I don't like saying good bye..." he whispered a little as Chloe squeezed his hand concerned.

"But hey, if you want to go give big hugs go ahead, they're family too," lance smiled at the kids. Milo and Chloe sprinted as Milo hugged Allura quickly as Chloe threw herself around hunks legs. Dani walked over as her and Pidge shared an embrace.

"Make sure lance still showers okay? He's stupid and stinky," Allura hugged the kids with tears in her eyes.

"Make sure you corrupt the twins till I get back," lance smiled at Pidge as shiro and Allura sent him a look.

"Shiro, lura, thank you for everything," he whispered as the three kids hugged the others as he pulled the parents away.

"You helped me a lot, I'm not dropping my real family," he hugged them both tightly as Allura felt tears run down her face as she kissed his cheek.

"We always will welcome you back with open arms, your still like my brother," Allura whispered to him.

"I'm proud of you Lance," shiro smiled down at him as lance blushed embarrassed. "I'm sorry for what you've fought for but we're all happy and proud of you,"

"Thanks," he nodded but turned around seeing Keith walked to the kitchen as the children cried to the others. Lance pursed his lips and followed his exe to the separate room.
