"Love I have a meeting after work tonight, did you want me to pick you up from your place afterwards?" Lotor asked from the shower as lance brushed his teeth. He spit before answering.
"I should stay at the house tonight, milo has a parent teacher conference I have to go too after work, plus I don't want them thinking I moved in with you," lance told him as he ran a hand through his hair seeing it was flat from the previous shower.
"Sounds good, I might spend the night in my office then if you don't mind, I'm still pretty behind from our time away," Lotor peaked over the fogged glass door of the shower as lance smiled back at him.
"Don't hurt yourself from working to hard, but that's fine, I'll see you tomorrow then," lance walked over as Lotor poked his head out of the shower and lance kissed him quickly.
"See you tomorrow, I love you," Lotor smiled at him.
"I love you too, Amor, don't be late," lance giggled as he forced Lotor back in the shower and left the apartment building to the shop.
He walked out of the apartment building as it was a busy morning it seemed during rush hour, he looked down at his phone seeing a unrecognized number. He denied it thinking it was spam.
But it called again.
"Hello?" Lance sighed answering this time.
"Hey lance," Keith.
"Oh.. uh hey? What do you want? I'm heading to work," lance pursed his lips as he kept walking down the street.
"Did Dani not tell you?" Keith asked concerned, Lances heart stopped.
"What happened?" He froze in place wide eyes.
"John and Maria got in a fight, the cops came, your dads in jail," Keith sighed like he was disappointed but lance knew he wasn't, it wasn't his problem.
"Shit, I- okay, okay I'll stop at the police station real quick and see what they need me to do to bail him out, is Maria there too?" Lance rubbed his face frustratedly.
"No, they let her go after they broke up the fight, maybe johns better off in jail man," Keith told him gently but lance frowned.
"No no no, my dad is an asshole but he's my dad, I'll get him out, thanks for letting me know," he groaned stopping by a trash can as he lit a cigarette leaning against the wall.
"Do you need any help?" Keith offered him.
"No, I got it," he bit out a little to harsh.
"It's my problem, just... I got it, don't worry about me," lance closed his eyes a little.
"Okay... I'll see you later then?" He asked gently and Lances chest tightened.
"Maybe," the Cuban huffed and hung up. Lance inhaled deeply and exhaled smoke from his lips watching a black car pull up in front of him. He frowned seeing it was black out windows. Suddenly a man was next to him and had a tight grip around his bicep.
"Can I fucking help you?" Lance blew smoke at him and flicked the cigarette away in case he had to sprint. The mans hand slid up and grabbed the back of Lances neck and squeezed.
"Get in the car," the man hissed in his ear.
"Let go or I break your hand," Lance didn't back down ignoring his fears. But the man moved his own jacket to the side and showed lance a gun. The Cuban inhaled sharply with wide eyes as he was forced into the black vehicle and the doors locked immediately when they closed behind him.
Lance grunted sitting on a black leather seat as another man sat on the other side with two more in front. He gulped seeing the man next to him hold out his hand with a stern look on his scarred face.
"Phone, wallet, any weapons?" He looked at lance coldly. Lance gave him his wallet, brass knuckles and his knife. The man took them and held out his hand once more for the phone, lance bit his lip and handed the man his phone.
"Where am I going? Who are you even?" Lance asked softly putting his hands in his lap anxiously.
"Shut your mouth and stay quiet till we get there," the driver spat back at him as lance felt his palms getting sweaty now.
He's been cat called from the street, chased, beaten, cornered, but being kidnapped was different, if this was Lotors idea of a prank it wasn't funny. The men were in suits, they looked serious, he didn't know why he was getting taken and he didn't know what to do, if he should just stay calm and see where it goes or cause hell. Someone would notice he was gone soon right? Narti?
The kids...
Did these guys touch his family? Hopefully it was just him.
The car finally came to a stop and lance lifted his head to look. He was still in the city at least seeing a building that looked like any other business building. He gulped a little looking at the other men waiting to see what was next, was Lotor waiting for him here? This had to be a joke.
"Out," the man next to him said coldly as another opened Lances door. "You run, we shoot,"
Lance got out of the car ignoring the fact that he couldn't feel his knees anymore from the fear that settled in his mind that this wasn't a joke anymore. He walked with the three men inside the building as no one paid attention to them while lance glanced to the sides but didn't recognized anything around him, it just looked like a city, but no restaurants, no billboards or signs that he could catch a name from. He was screwed.
They went to the elevator pass the lobby and a man pressed the top floor. It reminded him of the boss round on Dani's games.
They shoved him to move once they hit the top floor and lance grunted a little but walked forward seeing a black desk with windows at a wall behind the man at the desk, he had silver grey hair slicked back with a scar over his Olive tan face, a cruel look about him in his blue eyes.
"Lance mcclain, please sit," he said in a rough voice.
"Who are you?" Lance asked but a man suddenly grabbed his arms and forced his wrists together to slap hand cuffs on, he gasped when he was shoved into a chair and the hand cuffs where attached to the back so he couldn't run.
"Stop! Let me go!" Lance snapped back at them but the man narrowed his eyes at the boy.
"The reason you're here today is because we have someone in common, my son," the man looked at lance coldly as the Cuban froze.
"Lotor?" Lance whispered wide eyes.
"My name is zarkon, why don't we have a chat?"
