Lance was up early as he didn't feel a hang over the next morning and decided to make breakfast in the quiet house. Maria had the kids for a little longer, he barely could sleep at the thought of her with them, she could barely take care of herself. He smoked more than drank the night before but lotor was barely able to walk back home.

Lance walked over to the couch where Lotor was passed out on with a bucket next to him. He set down a plate with toast and a coffee mug on the coffee table.

"Good morning sleepy head," lance rubbed his back and kissed the top of his ear.

"I'm never going to your parties again," Lotor mumbled pulling a blanket over his face as lance smirked.

"Welcome to the south side Amor," he giggled kissed his forehead softly.

"No," Lotor groaned.

"Kids won't be home for a few more hours so enjoy the silence now," lance hummed as Lotor buried himself under the pillow and blanket.

"Honey I'm home!" Luis barged in as lance jumped surprised and Lotor glared at the noise.

"I locked the door," lance blinked with wide eyes seeing his three older siblings walk in. Him and marco made eye contact, lance stayed by Lotor and glared a little.

"What do you want?" Lotor growled sitting up as he winced at the headache.

"You're still here?" Marco scoffed.

"What's wrong with you?" Veronica looked at him confused.

"South side party," lance grinned evilly as the three older siblings immediately sympathized with Lotor, they understood.

"I'm going to take a shower," Lotor grabbed the toast and coffee mug to take with him.

"Dani's hair brush is under the sink," lance told him as Lotor nodded going upstairs.

"Where are the kids?" Veronica asked sitting next to lance on the couch as the boys stood still.

"Maria took them for the night, I'm going to get them soon," lance explained softly, he was nervous.

"You let her be alone with them?" Luis's eyes widen shocked as marco raised a brow.

"So what? She's their mom, they'll be fine," marco made a face as all the siblings looked at him like he was insane.

"Oh yea your the first son, you were babied and hidden from all responsibilities," lance snapped his fingers remembering.

"Yea, it was the girls problem to take care of children until you got older," Veronica nodded with a smirk.

"She's not that bad!"

"Dude..." Luis scrunched up his nose.

"She's like the worst," he told his older brother as the other two nodded.

"She's our mother!" Marco cried out.

"She's your mother," lance dipped his coffee. "I'm starting to think I just don't have parents at this point,"

"Makes sense," Luis agreed as Veronica looked annoyed with all the boys.

"What did you guys want? I want to take a shower," lance sighed setting the coffee mug in his lap as he leaned back.

"I want to move," marco said slowly as the two older siblings looked irritated and lance was unfazed.

"You're already moved out," lance shrugged.

"Out of state lance," he inhaled deeply.

"Tell him why," Veronica snapped.

"I'm moving with my girlfriend to Tennessee," marco looked down at his feet.

"When did you get a girlfriend?" Lance laughed a little.

"Marco Jonathan tell him why," she hissed clenching her fists.

"She's pregnant,"

Lances eyes widen a little as he felt himself stop breathing. He stared at his brother in horror as panic bubbled up in his chest, it was hard to breathe.

"You're having a baby?" Lance gulped as he began bouncing his leg.

"Yea, and I don't think I should raise a baby in this environment," Marco nodded softly as everyone was silent.

"Well congratulations," lance smiled at him but there was something in his eyes that didn't match.

"I'm glad you can finally start a family," he chuckled but his anxiety stayed in his chest and kept bouncing his leg.

"Lance are you okay?" Luis asked worried.

"Yea of course, why wouldn't I be? It's not like I'm being forced to raise this kid too?" Lance laughed it off.

"I'm really happy for you marco," he smiled again.

"Lance what..." marco trailed off seeing tears in his brothers eyes.

"No no I am, that's honestly the only thing I hope for everyone, is to get the fuck out of here and go be happy, your right, this neighborhood isn't good for your family, this is the same thing I've been telling the kids, I want it to apply to all of you too," Lance forced his smile to stay and fought off his tears.

"I don't want anyone to feel like they're stuck here, it's awful," he sniffled a little.

"So uhh with your girlfriend, have you been dating long?" Lance wiped his tears quickly and looked at his older brother.

"Yea, almost a year," Marco smiled softly.

"Ha... I hope you guys make a great family," lance nodded standing up.

"Are you okay?" Veronica asked concerned.

"Absolutely ron, it's not like he lived her or contributed in any way, he's making his own life, right marco? Making your own life and leaving this one behind for good now," he stared at his brother calmly as marco looked at his own feet.

"I'm happy for you marco," lance told him seriously seeing his brother couldn't even look him in the eyes.

"Im taking a shower," he whispered going upstairs.

Lotor walked out of the bathroom and headed towards Lances room but noticed his boyfriend coming up the stairs.

"Everything okay?" Lotor asked holding a towel around his waist.

"It's fine!" Lance squeaked a little.

"Marcos going to start his family out of state, heh.. ha he's leaving us officially now I guess," he smiled up at his boyfriend but Lotor knew better. It was easy to tell lance was having to many emotions to really process it.

"God I'm fucking jealous," lance whispered wide eyes. "That's the one thing I want, to know my family is safe enough to leave and go make myself a life,"

"But I'm not low like him, I don't abandon my family, so good fucking riddance," he nodded growing a little angry but kept it under control as Lotor listener.

"Soon enough Luis and Veronica and maria, everyone's going to do that same, it's whatever," lance spat as he slammed the bathroom door close behind him as Lotor blinked surprised in the empty hallway.

Everybody always leaves...

He hated when lance was right about it, knowing it was the one thing lance feared and his own family was making it come true. He knew lance was right.
