"Axca take lance and go,"

The room was silent as tears weld up in Lances eyes and his jaw dropped, laying on the ground.

"Sir-" "did I stutter?" He glared back at Axca as no one moved.

"Take him and go," Lotor spat back at her as lance blinked with the tears falling down his face, shaking his head.

"No... no no no no no don't! She's dying!" Lance trembled as someone cut his ropes and forced lance to his feet aggressively, he whimpered falling to his knees in pain but the hand in his hair forced him up again. Lotor sneered at the man who was so aggressive but he was helpless to do anything about it, in here at least.

"Lotor please don't! I'm fine I'm fine please don't choose me, she's going to die!" He finally sobbed as he tried fighting back but he was weak.

"Lotor please! Don't do this let me go! I'm not letting her die! I'll stay please don't!" He sobbed and was shoved to the ground with the man annoyed.

"Will you shut the fuck up!" The man that dragged him yelled as lance didn't move.

"Lance come on..." Axca knelt down to him as more blood gushed down his arm.

"No! No take ezor, please, I can't watch anyone else die because of me!" Lance pushed her away.

Ezor felt tears slip down her face as she watched him fighting for her still. They were friends but not close, but he still fought despite what he's gone through.

"I'm staying," Lotor told them.

"What?" Axca narrowed her eyes.

"Take him to a hospital but I'm staying," Lotor repeated.

Axca gulped but obeyed, she helped lance to his feet as he had tears streaming down his face through the blood and dirt. He tried to fight back to stay and screamed for ezor to live instead of him but Axca was stronger than him, easy to drag him out as lance thing lance remembered was the doors shutting, fighting the urge to give up to the darkness, to keep moving or maybe to just stay awake for Axca to escape before they're all screwed. He couldn't loose them both. Not all of them. Knowing he'd never see Ezors smile again or her friendly giggle and wave when he went to Lotors office. She'd be gone.. because of him.

He turned his head to be selfish and steal the last glimpses of that room.

Zarkon lighting a cigar as he leaned against his desk.

Ezor watching him from the floor, barely able to keep her eyes open it seemed, clutching her wounded side.

Lotors back to him. Not looking to turn at all.

Then the doors shut.

They walked out the back as lance limped but kept his arms to himself even when Axca insisted she helped.

"Get off me!" He shoved her away again but leaned against the building.

"Lance... I'm calling an ambulance," she sighed as his wound didn't stop bleeding and he was feeling more dizzy.

"We're going to loose them both," lance closed his eyes.

"You get to see your kids again, stay awake for them lance," Axca pulled out her phone to dial 911 before he bleed out.

"There's a boy out here on north of third street, he-he's been shot it looks like and beaten, he looks like he's about to pass out!" Axca gasped to seemed panicked when someone answered her call. A moment later she hung up and helped him back up.

"They're on their way, we need to get out of here before Zarkon changes his mind," Axca said softly as lance looked at her and hiccup a sob.

"She's going to die isn't she?" Lance leaned against the woman as Axca looked just as sad.

"I don't know... Lotor must have a plan when he said he'd stay behind.." Axca whispered and they could hear the sirens in the distance of the city.

"I'll meet you at the hospital, will you be okay on your own?" She asked as they walked to the street in the dead of night.

"No.. no please don't leave me too.." lance clung onto her leather jacket but couldn't keep himself steady, stumbling on his steps.

"You've lost a lot of blood, you need to sit," Axca shook her head as they made it to the sidewalk, she helped him sit on the edge but he panted laying on his back with his feet in the street.

"He hates me doesn't he?" Lance looked at the stars.

"Who-" "Lotor... I was so stupid and got myself involved in exactly what he didn't want me too, and now he's either dead or furious, I'm never going to see him again," more tears slipped down the side of his face.

Axca softened as she rested her arms on her knees letting him relax on the ground even if they both were stressed over the situation.

"No, he doesn't hate you, when your not on the verge of death I'll talk to you more about the last 48 hours of your disappearance... you have no idea what that man would do for you lance," Axca explained with a small smile on her lips. When he didn't answer she glanced back at the boy.

"Are you hanging in there kid?" Axca looked next to her seeing him on the ground.

"Kid?" She felt panic in her chest.

"Lance?!" She saw he was unconscious, eyes close, blood staining his clothes and skin, his chest barely moving as red light flashed behind her as she towered over him fearful. Tapping his face and shaking his shoulders.

"Kid wake up! Lance hold on," she gasped and turned around quickly waving her arms for the ambulance to come straight to them.

"Over here! Help!" She shrieked.

"Help!"
