There Was Something in the Air- Chandy

I am so afraid

I know the title isn't exactly as the song says but you know what I meant to say if you have heard the song. I have the feeling that the last chapter was not so great so. This next one, I'm doing my best to make up for it.

Cher was deep in thought, Andy was so close to her that she almost couldn't resist. She didn't know what to think. Cher had never felt anything like this since Rob Camilletti. Now she was absolutely sure that she had feelings for him. These feelings scared her, she didn't know how to handle them. Cher had her back to the door when she heard a knock.

"Who is it?" She asked

"It's Andy" he said on the other side, his deep voice gave Cher goosebumps "Can I come in?" She thought for a minute but couldn't control her movements so she turned and opened the door.

"Hi, have a seat, what's up?" She quickly said sitting down but without looking into his eyes

He sat down next to her "Cher I got worried about you, you ran off and even if Ol didn't saw the expression on your face, I did and it brought me concerned"

Cher looked up at him "You were worried about me?" She asked with sparkles in her eyes.

"Yes, I mean we have to look after each other since we are practically the new addition to Mamma Mia" Andy got closer and held her hand "You know you can always come to me for anything. That's what friends are for"

"Right" Cher said, without taking their eyes off each other, Andy closed the gap between them. He took Cher's hand and kissed the back of it. Cher's heart started racing again. She was lost in his eyes, not wanting to look away.

Andy couldn't resist any longer. He leaned in and connected their lips. It started very shy but Cher almost immediately took impulse and kissed back. Andy wrapped an arm around Cher's waist, deepening the kiss. She cupped his face as her tongue begged for entrance which he granted. It was a sweet but forceful kiss at the same time. They both felt chills running through their bodies.

Soon enough Andy pulled away, locking eyes with her but she looked down.

"I don't know how that happened" Cher said

"I do, we have unexpectedly fallen for each other. Cher, we're adults, we know what we feel" Andy said grabbing her chin to make her look at him.

"But we can't, it's crazy, it's forbidden. We have practically just met and you are-"

"I know, but I'm not one to ignore it. Cher every time I have you near, I go crazy. Please, you can't deny that you feel at least something" Andy said

"I'm not, it's just that everything is complicated and I don't know how to handle whatever this is. I'm not this kind of woman" she told him

"Don't think it like that, I know it's complicated but we can figure everything out together. The last thing I want to do is hurt you or make you do something you don't want to do." He said

"I need time to figure things out" Cher said

"Ok" Andy said "Cher I really do care about you. I haven't felt for anyone in a long time what I feel about you"

She moved forward to give him a peck on the lips "I could say the same" she said and smiled, getting one from Andy in return "The break it's practically over by now so we have to go back. I'll go out first" Andy nodded

Cher stood up and went to the door but before she could open it, Andy stood behind her. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her cheek "See you outside" he said, she smiled, nodded and went out the door.

When Cher got to the set the cast was around waiting for instructions. Christine and Julie spotted Cher and went to her.

"Hey Cher, we heard you took a break after your first rehearsal. That's unusual so we got worrie and wanted to check on you." Julie said

"Thank you girls that is very kind of you" Cher said

"Listen, the cast is having a gathering tonight. We used to do it all the time during the first movie. If you want to come and relax don't hesitate to join. Everyone is going to be there" Christine said

"I don't know girls" Cher said, right out of the corner of her eye she saw Andy enter the set. He went to talk to Pierce and Stellan. Andy looked in her direction and smiled getting one from her in return.

"Well let us know please, we are letting go of the opportunity to spend time with Cher" Julie joked, she noticed that Cher was far from the conversation. Christine noticed as well and looked at the direction Cher was looking at. She saw Cher looking at Andy and looked at Julie raising her eyebrows, as did she.

"So are we seeing you tonight Cher?" Julie asked bringing Cher back to their conversation

"Fine, see you tonight. I'm going to retouch my makeup, excuse me" Cher said and walked away

"You know Jules, the title of this sequel fits well right now in the movie" Christine said

"Here we go again?" Julie said crossing her arms

Christine sighed "Here we go again" she repeated "you know what to do" Julie nodded and went to get her phone.

Filming went on normally and Cher got home to get ready for the gathering. She told Pauly about it so they were going together. Cher was a nervous wreck, she didn't know what to wear. It was only a gathering with the cast but Andy was going to be there. After today, Cher was absolutely sure that she was starting to fall for him. In that moment the phone rang, she picked it up and saw that it was Meryl.

"Hello" she answered

"Don't hello me Cherilyn, what the hell happened today? And don't leave any detail out" Meryl said

Cher was a little surprised by this "How do you know if something happened?" She asked

"Did it?"

"Yes" Cher grunted, she went to her door and closed it so Pauly couldn't hear from the other room, then sat on her bed. Cher told Meryl everything that happened and her kiss with Andy.

"Cher you are falling for him" Meryl said

"I know!! I don't know what to do but at the same time I can't help but want to go through with this." Cher said

"I beg you, don't play with fire. This is going to stir up a lot of emotions and you are going to get hurt. Trust me on this Cher" Meryl told

"Sounds like you are speaking from experience" Cher remarked

"If by all means you decide to not listen to me, please be careful and call me if things get out of hand" Meryl said changing the subject

"I will, now it's my turn to ask. Was it with Pierce?" Cher smirked

"If you ever use that against me in the future, you're dead" she warned but gave a small laugh.

"I mean, I can't blame you either. Pierce seems to have his stuff too" Cher teased

"I know!!" Meryl said playfully, they both laughed.

Cher and Meryl talked for a little while then hung up. Cher took a deep breath and finished getting ready. She couldn't wait to get there and have a good time. She couldn't wait to see him. Every time Cher thought about Andy, she felt a completely different person. Cher really was falling for Andy Garcia and she was about to fall even harder.
