There Was Something in the Air- Chandy

Cher and Pauly finally arrived in London. Judy, Ol, Benny and Bjorn were already there since days before. They sent Jen the press and interviews schedule so they would be on track. Cher also got an invite to a dinner party for the cast in the hotel they were staying at. Cher obviously had her house there so she had to be given the address. Sadly, Meryl wouldn't join them until the premiere but Cher was excited to see her friends and obviously Andy again. She was dying to see him, they had talked and Cher was slightly nervous when he told her he needed to tell her something important.

All Cher and Pauly did the first day was unpack and go shopping. As always, Pauly took a lot of pictures. The next day they reviewed Cher's schedule before starting to get ready for tonight. Cher wore a formal golden and cream pantsuit with heels, Pauly went with a marine blue short sleeved dress. Cher was shaking, she was really nervous on seeing Andy after months of just hearing his voice. She was worried about him, of all he must be going through on his own. She wanted to be physically by his side to support him but they knew it wasn't possible for now.

At the entrance to the party, Cher stopped, still shaking. Pauly looked at her concerned and took her hand to calm her down "Are you shaking because your nervous about seeing Andy?" She asked

"No Pauly, I'm shaking because I'm a chihuahua" Cher said sarcastically rolling her eyes "of course I'm shaking because I'm nervous about Andy, he said we needed to talk and I'm afraid of what he might say"

Pauly chuckled "I'm sure is nothing to worry about, come on let's go in" she pulled Cher by the hand and entered the room. As expected, her presence was felt and every went to greet her. No surprise to her, Christine and Julie were moving people aside so they could pass.

Cher laughed at them "Hey you high kicking bitch" she said to Christine, she laughed "how are you girls?" Now addressing both of them kissing them on the cheek.

"Dealing with neverending work, you know how it is" Julie said

"Yeah"

"Have you talked to Meryl? It's a shame that she won't be coming until the premiere" Christine said

"Yeah but she has a lot of stuff on her mind and she wants to give Pierce some space. You know how hard things have been for them" Cher replied

"I can't even imagine being in their position" Julie said

"I can" Cher sighed "but it's what needs to be done for everything to end well"

"I'm sorry Cher, I didn't mean to sound-"

"It's fine"

"Speaking of which, look who's coming over" Pauly said, Cher looked to the same direction and her eyes lit up on seeing Andy. She instantly smiled at him, getting a shining smile in return.

"Good evening ladies" he greeted

"Well look who finally decided to come and say hi" Pauly joked, Cher hit her in the arm but they laughed.

"Hi" Cher greeted shyly, he took her hand and kissed the back of it making her blush. His eyes never leaving hers, only longing and love in them.

"Well three's a crowd and five is a party" Pauly said "Julie, Christine I think we better find our seats before the dinner starts" the other women nodded and walked away with her.

"I've missed you angel" Andy said "How you've been?"

"I've missed you too, even though we have talked basically every night" she answered, Andy chuckled at that "I've been working you know, and worried about you. I remember when I had to fight for Chaz's custody with Sonny. This must be difficult for you"

"It is and every minute of it I wished you were by my side" Andy said, Cher looked down saddened "I need to tell you something about that"

Cher looked up, she felt chills all of a sudden "You did say you wanted to talk to me"

"Even though the custody battle continues, I told you I would come back to you as a free man. I have fulfill that promise, I am a free man" Andy told her

Cher's smile grew wide but then dropped "That's fantastic for us Andy, but we still can't be together until you can have the shared custody of your son. If we are careless, it would put him and you in jeopardy and I couldn't live with myself if that happened"

"I know, we will get through it. I promise" Andy said, he was in awe of how concerned she was for the wellbeing of Andrés and him "There's something else-"

"Hello everyone, please gather at the table, it's time to eat" Benny called out, the crowd quickly started walking to their seats.

"Let's go, we can seat together. Nobody will think much of it, I'm sure" Cher said smiling, she smiled back and they took their seats.

The dinner was going well, everybody was laughing, chatting and catching up with each other. Andy and Cher occasionally shared glances at each other and held hands under the table. Judy out of nowhere got her attention.

"Cher why don't you tell everybody the surprise you have for the audience and fans after the premiere" she said having all of them look at Cher.

"I don't know, can I?" Cher asked

"Sure, come on" Bjorn said

Cher giggled "Well I talked to Judy, Benny and Bjorn about this on set and got permission. I'm going to make an album of ABBA songs and have another tour" she announced, everyone cheered and clapped.

"That's amazing, I'm sure it will sound great. It's the greatest combination ever" Stellan praised

"Another tour? Says the woman who has had like 5 farewell tours" Christine teased

Cher laughed "Come on, everybody knows I don't mean that" she saw all the people agree, she laughed again.

"I think it's time for dessert" Amanda said as she saw the waiters coming in.

When dessert was finished they all stood up again and music started to play. The young cast members danced and the legacy cast stood in the sidelines, too full of food to dance. When a more slow song started playing, then they began to dance. Obviously Andy pulled Cher to the dance floor. He pulled her close to him, their cheeks toughing. With one hand taking another and the other hand around her waist, Cher had a hand on his shoulder and was put in a trance by his cologne. Halfway through the second song and in a comfortable silence, Andy decided to speak.

"I couldn't wait to have you this close to me again" Andy said

"Me neither. I wanted to be with you Andy, support you in your time of need. Even if we saw each other once, even for a short time, I hate the distance we had to keep" Cher said pressing him

Andy kissed her forehead, knowing the lights were dimmed enough so no one could see "I know, it won't be long now and we can be together. I'm desperate to be with you, to wake up alongside you every morning. I miss you every day Cher"

"Me too" she looked up at him emotion and desire was plastered in both their eyes.

Andy smirked "You know, there is an upside on having this dinner party at the same hotel we are all staying at"

Cher giggled, knowing exactly what he was going to say but she wanted to hear him say it "And what upside is that?"

"Let's get out of here and find out" He whispered in her ear, Cher bit her lip before she was pulled by him and they sneaked out of the party.
