I wake up in my bed. The sheets are pushed past my shoulders, only covering half of my body. I don't know how I got here. The last thing I remember is being in Louis' house. In his playroom. I was so exhausted I must've fallen asleep. But if he drove me back to my place, how didn't I wake up in the ride home?
The room is pitch dark. As I struggle to keep my eyes open, I quickly realize it's still the middle of the night. 'Where's Louis?'
I sit up when I hear a melodic noise coming from downstairs. The living room - if my ears are correct. 'What is he doing?'
Staring at the open door, I battle if I should head downstairs to see what he's doing and help him with something, in case he needs. But, before I make a choice, there's a figure walking in through the shadows of the hallway. It's lean and tall, much alike Louis'.
It moves swiftly, like a weightless ghost in my room, and finds me in a matter of seconds. He smells different; of a completely different fragrance. Before I can tell it's not Louis', I have a hand pressed on my mouth and my wrists tied with another.
Suddenly I had become the weakest I'd ever been in my life, the heavy body poised on mine sucking all my strengths - body and soul's. I can only lie, defenseless, fighting the weight over me in vain.
I look up to the man holding me against my will, hoping - praying - he showed me mercy. And it's the most dreading familiar face I could see: Jonathan's.
I hear another noise from downstairs, similar to the previous. My intuition tells me it's Louis. So I gather all the air from my lungs and scream as loud as I can; so loud all my insides seem to vanish from my mouth.
But I make no sound. No sound at all. My voice hits against his palm and runs right back inside me.
"No!"
Harry wakes up in a halt. He's lied in Louis' bedroom. It takes him a split second to realize he's screaming in real life, at the very top of his lungs.
That was the most realistic dream he'd ever had. And, to make it even better, it was the worst as well.
Standing straight abruptly - much like in his dream - he brings the white sheets to his chest for comfort. Besides him, there was no one in the room. Or hidden in the hallway. Only the crying sound of the pouring rain outside kept him company.
Taking a tortuous sequence of deep breaths, he tries to calm himself down.
I'm safe. No one is coming for me. I'm doing my part in the deal... Repeating that mantra several times, he jumps out of Louis' bed and rushes to pick up his clothes lying around the room. Even when he's getting dressed he can't stop crying, sobbing. It's all out of his grip, now.
In that moment, he just knew he had to leave. He was too frightened that his nightmare would become real. And, above that, he could no longer handle staring at Louis and lie straight to his face. His little white lies were choking him, more and more as the seconds flew by. If he stayed, he would have to come clean. And he just simply couldn't. Otherwise, his deepest fears would all come true.
