"There has to be a way out of here" Dick said. "I hope so." Emily replied. "Dick?" she asked. "Yeah", Dick said. " I, I want to go home" she said with her voice cracking for a second. Dick turned around and placed his hands on his sister's shoulders. "I promise you, we will find a way out of here and once we do, we are going home" Dick stated. Emily nodded and the two continued walking. After a while of walking, the two entered a giant marble room with red like tombs all over the ground. "Maybe this computer can help us" Emily said as she walked over to a small computer. "But how do I turn it on?" she asked. As soon as she touched it, the computer came to life, and all the red tombs opened up. Slowly, rows and towers of liquid chambers arose from the ground. "What the?" Dick asked. Dick walked over to one of them and saw that there was a person inside it. They had several injuries on them but they seemed perfectly fine. As he was looking at the person, he noticed that some of the wounds were disappearing. "You're right" Dick said, staring at the misshapen figure. "I'm what now?!" Emily exclaimed. "You were right. I think all of the people in here are talons. And, they're healing from their injuries." he explained. "They really were preparing for us to join the court. I didn't even push anything on the computer before it turned on. Maybe it was designed to recognize members of the court" Emily said, thinking out loud. "Stop it Jackie. You have to focus. Focus on what's going on now" she thought. Emily started typing on the computer, gaining access to everything the court had. "Try checking the security cameras-" Dick started to say. "To see where an exit could be and where all the talons are" Emily finished. Switching from one camera to another, the two stopped at a camera located in the center of the maze with the giant owl fountain. "Is that?" Emily asked. On the screen, they could see their friends and family fighting off some of the court's talons. "They're going to kill them" Dick said.
In the center of the maze, all the heroes were fighting off waves of talons that never seemed to end. One of the talons swung their sword down on Jay. But, she was ready for them. After all, she is the daughter of Batman. Jay quickly spun around and blocked the attack with her katana. Being the daughter of Batman and the demon's head, Jay quickly defeated her opponent. BANG! BANG! BANG! Jay turned to see where the noise had come from. To her left, Todds had pulled out their guns and start shooting at the Talons. "Where are all of them coming from?!" Red hood (Rachel) asked. "I don't know. But we have to find Nightwing and Nightclaw." Robin stated. "Everyone, move." Batman ordered. Batman threw a smoke bomb to the ground, and while the talon were distracted, all the heroes ran out of the room. But, the court was prepared for this. As the heroes ran down one of the many hallways, a strange smell started to fill the room. One by one, the heroes started to succumb to the gas. As Jay slowly started to fall, she looked up to see the female talon from before standing above her. "You're not going to take them away from us this time." she said. That was the last thing Jay heard before she blacked out.
