Diana looked in the mirror one final time, adjusting her earrings carefully. Today was the day. Today was prom. Diana was waiting on Artemis now. He was on his way back. Apparently he had arranged for a rental car, and wouldn't tell her what it was. At this point, they could walk to her high school, and she would still be ecstatic. The girl moved away from the mirror, letting her sister use it now. Marisa was attending prom, as well, and still had a bit before her date, Diana's friend Justin, showed up. They'd be riding in whatever he drove over in; Artemis didn't figure there was enough room in whatever he was bringing for Marisa's large, princess-like dress.

As her mom began flashing a few solo pictures of Diana, there was a somewhat familiar sounding engine roar. Diana adverted her attention from the camera, and immediately went outside onto the front porch. Parked in her driveway was a car she had only seen on her television screen, a car she had only dreamed of sitting in- a 1967 Chevy Impala. Diana couldn't resist fangirling as she saw Artemis step out of the driver's seat, smirking all the while.

"This is the car your precious Winchesters drive, isn't it?" he asked as he approached the porch.

"Yessssssss!" Diana shrieked.

"So I did well?" Artemis looked for confirmation, stopping on the porch next to her.

"Yessssssss!" Diana repeated, pulling her boyfriend into a tight embrace as her eyes began watering up. "It looks just like Baby!"

Artemis smiled, returning the hug. "I'm glad. Don't doubt that I pay attention to your rants about your television shows," he said. "Just don't start crying. Your make-up will run, and I don't think you have time to fix it."

"I'm not crying, I'm... Okay, maybe I am crying," Diana answered, wiping her eyes a little bit. "And for your information, my make-up is water proof."

Before Artemis could give her any kind of response, Diana's parents and Marisa were filing out onto the porch as well. Diana swore her mother was going wild with how many pictures she was taking. The number of flashes was beginning to blind the girl, and probably Artemis, Marisa, and eventually Justin as well. After what seemed like an eternity, the flashing ceased, and they were well on their way to the school. What was sad was that they wouldn't be in the Impala for long; the school had arranged for the dance to take place in a small town called Frankenmuth, roughly twenty minutes north of them. So once everyone arrived at the school, they would all be boarding party buses.

When they got to the school, they drove past the entrance where most of the people were getting out of their vehicles, surely confusing most of the other students. Instead, Artemis drove to the freshly paved parking lot, and parked their car. As Justin and Marisa parked his car next to them, Artemis stepped out of the Impala and walked over to Diana's door, letting her out and taking her hand in his. The couple waited patiently for the other two to do the same before heading towards the mob of teenagers at the school doors. Diana confidently linked arms with Artemis, leading him up to the school. As they began passing some of the other students, Diana saw the eyes of her peers beginning to fall on them. Diana smirked; all the people who thought she had made Artemis up were eating their words now.

The group pushed their way through the crowd, past the door, and into the cafeteria where they would be waiting for the cue to get on the buses. They found a clearing and decided to claim it as their own. It was then Diana had the feeling someone was staring at her. She glanced up to see the blue eyes of her ex-boyfriend glaring at her from across the room. Diana noticed Brent had managed to find a date after all- some fake blonde, the girl she assumed was the one he had been seeing behind her back. After shooting them a smug look, Diana nudged Artemis' chin slightly with the top of her head, getting his attention.
