Author's Note:
Thank you to everyone who has read this story, especially from the moment it's been published. Thank you for all the love you have shared over the months in the making of this story between Oliver Queen and Barry Allen, with the inclusion of Felicity Smoak, Iris West, Caitlin Snow, Cisco Ramon, Ralph Dibny, Thea Queen, Roy Harper, The Speedforce, and the most important guest of all: Kara Danvers. It has been a rollercoaster being the "God" of all these characters and their lives and relationships. With this story, I introduced from the very beginning the bond between Barry and Iris, the feelings Barry had for Oliver, and along the way, have danced the relationship between Oliver and Kara and the identity of Kara Danvers. Aside from Thea, Barry and Kara are the two people Oliver loves, or loved, most in the world. I have had joy developing the love Oliver possesses for the both of them, and can only hope you all have had joy reading it. I will miss the characters I have personalized in this story, taking them under my wing, but it is time for a new idea and a new story. The way this story ends is how I've always seen it end, and the description only honors that. Thank you. Enjoy the finale of 'How I Feel - An Olivarry Story'.

Oliver stood at the doorstep of the Med Bay to peers his eyes and ears out to the cortex and the hallways that left it to make sure that Barry and Caitlin were gone. The pair had left him behind to take more tests downstairs to find out where Barry's speed had gone. Before they fled, they had asked Oliver to tag along, but he refused. He wanted to stay with Kara. So he did.

In the clear, Oliver walked back to the cot that was placed right by Kara's bedside. He started to take the made cot apart, throwing the sheets, pillows and blankets onto a nearby chair, and then folded the cot to place at the corner for more space. He then folded the sheets and blankets, stuffing it in a drawer that was once used for antibiotics. It was his morning routine ever since he'd been sleeping here.

He left the pillows on one chair, and dragged another chair that was empty closer to Kara's bed. Sitting down, his eyes met with Kara. It hits him all over again. She was frozen.

Oliver bites his lip to stop himself from whimpering.

This was killing him.

He quickly wipes a tear from his face. He couldn't cry. Not now. He had to be strong if he was going to let out what he wanted to say. He just had to be.

"Hey," Oliver whispers. His mind traces back to the time Barry had told him that comatose patients, even him, could hear. But Kara wasn't comatose, she was... dead. The thought causes Oliver to sniffle his nose. Holding back tears, he continues, "I miss you, Kara. I miss you so much. You're here, but you're not. It's been so hard without you." Oliver pauses his words to hold his hand to his mouth, locking his sobs out from escaping.

Be strong. Be strong for her.

"Kara," Oliver calls, dropping his hand from his face. "In a short amount of time, you became my best friend. You became the person I could talk to about anything, and do anything with. You and I... connected. Ever since I met you at that bar with a broken heart, we connected in a way I never had connected with anybody. You made me feel things... that no one else had ever made me feel." Tingles coarse through his body due to memory flashes. They were of memories he had shared with her. "You made me admit things I would never admit to myself. You made me realize things I could have never have realized without you. And most of all, you have made me accept the parts of myself I wouldn't accept." He screws his eyes shut to propel his next words out. "I, uh, miss being with you. I miss holding you, and touching you... kissing you." His voice breaks. "God, you have no idea how much I've wanted to kiss you and make all of this better."
