There was always a spark between you and Peter, even from the get-go when you "accidentally" ran into him whilst he was coming out of school. There was more eye contact during your second meeting when you were in his apartment, happily talking to his Aunt May.
You weren't home often since you get frequently flying back and forth between university and home. Peter hardly saw you and was ashamed that you weren't around during the civil war.
Your dad made you go back to university, thought it would be more protection for you than get in the middle of business. When you returned, and Peter had arrived home, you made sure you were there to entertain him. Even Aunt May saw the connection between you two.
"How old are you? 14?" You asked, looking at his homework, "The answer is fifty-four."
"You barely looked at that!" Peter exclaimed from his bed, but you chuckled.
"Yeah, well, I am a genius," You spoke with a tease, "15 years old at MIT, a Stark and a future businessman."
"Wow, you got your whole life planned ahead of you, don't you?"
Then you disappeared once again, but you frequently call Peter. Peter rang you mostly when he was tired of trying to convince your dad for some Avengers work. You called him often, to make sure he was well and for once you had a friend that didn't pretend.
You would often face time each other through the phone and laptop, talking about silly things and helping him out with his homework. You started to find each other more than friends, you adored his stupid smile even through the slow connections.
But, then Peter started to talk about his new academic year at school. You weren't able to hang around him during the summer much, but you often cherish it when you were able to spend a week or two back in New York. He started to talk about this girl he was crushing on, how he was going to ask her to homecoming.
You felt hurt, but you nodded and listen to him talk about her through the bright screen of the laptop. He wanted to forget his feelings for you because he didn't know if you were gay or not. But, he just couldn't with you.
You rang him up to scream sing happy birthday when he turned fifteen and he did the same back to you on your 16th birthday. You even watched the news about Spiderman and DC, you called him up almost immediately to check if he was okay.
So, when you returned home from University, a few days after Peter's last day at school. You decided that you were going to spend some time with your dorky friend. You knocked on his bedroom window, which you saw a scared Peter jump up to turn the lights on.
Which he saw you smile sleepily through the window, he chuckles before opening it before you to enter. But, you stayed where you were crouching.
"Hey Spidey, up for an adventure?"
"I'm sure you'll need a car and a driving license." Peter was already getting up to get changed anyway, he turns to you as he rubs the sleep out of his eyes.
"It's a good thing that dad's letting me drive, isn't it?"
"Holy shit, get out!" Peter exclaims loudly before hushing himself, "Is that an actual license?"
"Junior license for now, but when I turn seventeen you bet your ass that I'm fully getting that senior license." You explained as you smirked, "I'm sure your up for some law breaking shit tonight? You wanna?"
Peter nodded as he climbed out of his window and quickly climbing down to the car you had been given by your dad. You were a safe driver, in Peter's opinion, and he was hoping that you wouldn't get caught due to the law against teens driving at night before you stopped at High Line.
