The summer of the fifth year was upon you and you were very excited to see Harry. You were Remus Lupin’s adopted child, although he could barely take care himself you were is pride and joy. You were comfortable with yourself and your dad, you never had thought to keep things a secret.

Harry Potter could possible by the love of your life, he was a very adoring boyfriend and you couldn’t help but smile at the thought of him. At first, you thought it was because of his green eyes and shaggy dark hair but you grew up with him.

You adored his determination, his love for his friends and his hope. You got together in the start of the fourth year, you were helping him finish off some potion homework that Snape set out as Harry realised how much he liked hanging around you and had asked you out for the yule ball.

Harry was beaming all over the place that night, he almost forgot about the whole big deal about him. He was utterly content in your presence and that night, he finally asked you on a date where you became official. Throughout the fourth year, you had stuck by each other’s side, you helped him during his trials and supported him.

You had a very healthy relationship, there were a few fights where you were concerned for his safety, but that’s part of growing. So, when summer came around and Dumbledore told you, Hermione and Ron, do not send letters to Harry you went behind his back.

You didn’t send often, but it never included what was happening on your side of the stick, but Harry was very grateful at least someone was sending him letters. So, the night of his arrival, a lot of chaos happened. You were giving him glances over the dinner table, cracking jokes to cheer him up even when you had come down with the flu in the middle of summer.

His mood personality had completely changed when he’s with you and your friends noticed. He enjoyed that you made effort with him despite being more restless, sleepy and overall ill. The morning of his hearing, some of the order members had come for breakfast to send Harry good luck.

“If anything, Harry needs a good luck kiss to get that moody arse at least cheered up,” Ginny teased as she sat down next to Tonks as her mother scowls at her.

“Thanks, Gin,” Harry mumbled, nervous.

“You better eat, Harry,” Hermione spoke as she entered the dining room.

Ron following afterwards, both taking a seat. Harry nervously smiles, as the group of teenagers looked at each other. Fred and George came running down the stairs, giggling.

“You better not have woken up, (Y/n)!” Molly exclaims, “That poor boy’s been sick almost all summer, you’d think he’d let us help him.”

“He’s just as stubborn as you, Remus!” Sirius laughs as Remus rolls his eyes.

“Irresponsible, more like,” Remus stated before slightly smiling, “I mean he is my boy.”

The breakfast table was quiet as they tried to eat silently before they hear the quiet patter of footsteps ascend the stairs. You appear, half awake, at the doorway. Harry beamed, obviously, making the troublesome kids grin at each other.

“Say, (Y/n), it’s Harry’s trial today,” Ron started as Molly and Arthur glared at their son, who blushed red.

“Shouldn’t you be in bed?” You dad questioned you.

You shrugged your shoulders as you grabbed yourself a glass of water, shuffling behind your dad and kissing the top of Harry’s hair and sitting next to him, the adults looked at the pair of you very surprised.

“Good luck, love,” You greeted with a sleepy grin, sipping on the water before leaning your elbow on the table and your chin on your palm.

“Thanks (Y/n),” Harry grinned, as Ginny and Hermione almost swooned with the love eyes you were both giving each other.

“You should eat breakfast, Harry, get your energy up for the trial.” You suggested as Harry agreed and started to eat.

“So, you listen to him but not me!” Hermione exclaimed, before staring at you, “And you should eat too, mister, you’re ill enough!”

You leaned back, slouching slightly, “Ah, Harry listen to me because I’m the concerning boyfriend who is keeping sure he’s healthy.”

“You’re ill,” Ron stated.

“You never eat breakfast,” Hermione counted back.

“We’re going to have a long talk about your health, son,” Remus piped up as you looked at him, forgetting that the adults were still around.

“Look, I’m awake now and my concern is my idiotic boyfriend who cannot tie a tie after being in school almost five years.” You looked at him before tugging on his collar.

“I hope I can get a boy like (Y/n), I don’t think I’ve ever seen a boy throw love eyes and do stupid romantic things for their love,” Ginny swoon as you grinned, throwing your head slightly.

“Well, I got lucky with Harry.”

“Mate, you got lucky? Have you seen you?” Harry suddenly spoke, “You are a genuinely a great person, who is so caring and loving, and has a cool dad.”

You chuckled, “Yeah, I do have a cool dad.”

Remus smiles fondly to himself behind Harry, he never really deemed himself as an acceptable human being and hearing you say something positive about your boyfriend made him feel worth.

“If anything, I’m the lucky one!” Harry commented.

Your lips turned upwards, your eyes shine before letting a sigh out, “Well, I feel like I’m going to lose this argument, but you better get going before you come late to your own trial.”

“Yeah,” Harry sighs, standing up as well as Arthur.

The group decided to wave them goodbye by the front door. You had your arms around yourself, as you leaned against the wall. Harry looks at you as his nervous personality came back, his shoulder was tense, and his hands were shaking.

You push off the wall and grabbed his face between your hands. You made him look at you before kissing his temple, “You’re going to be fine, Harry, I believe in you.”

The adults and kids watched with pride within them. Molly and Arthur briefly looked at each other as they realised that they were blessed with each other and they remember when they were young and in love.

Ron and Hermione stole quick glances to each other, grinning to themselves as they wanted your love with each other. Remus glance over at Tonks, realising that anyone was deserving of love. Remus looked away the moment Tonks looked at him, where she realised that she could definitely see herself with Remus.

Sirius, a man who believes love cannot touch him, found love in the presence of family. Harry, his godson, Tonks was his first cousin once removed and Remus his best friend practically brothers. They were family to him, who loved him all as well.

Harry was falling in love with you, he stares into your eyes with a soft smile.

“I believe in you too.”
