• Draco first met you during his first year when he aspired to join the quidditch team

• He showed up to the training fields and was met by the sight of six older Slytherins, some of which were probably in their fourth year, while you yourself were in second

• You didn't really stick out seeing as you looked just like any other player dressed in your quidditch outfit, chatting along with the older students (though you were much smaller than them), but as soon as Madam Hooch asked you and the others to set an example of what a real match might look like, Draco was awestruck

• He didn't know a whole lot about quidditch at first, but you seemed to be an extraordinaire

• You're flying tactics were on-point, and you had immense focus. No wonder Madam Hooch gave you a pat on the back and a prideful smile once you came back down for a break

• Yet, he didn't know your full name

• All he knew was that your last name was l/n, you were in the same house as him, and you were one of the best quidditch players he had ever seen

 • The cocky, determined little brat he is, Draco decided he would be friends with you, and sought you out after practice to introduce himself

• He could only tell it was you by the bold number eight on the back of your jersey, for he didn't have time to get a good look at your face, only what you wore

• Now, as he tapped you on the shoulder and stuck out his hand, he was beginning to falter out of his plan

• He couldn't deny that you were incredibly cute, but of course he didn't say anything

• Something in the back of his mind made him expect you to sneer or scowl, tell him to "sod off", but he certainly wasn't expecting you to give him a charismatic smile that--if he had no self control-- would set his face ablaze in a fiery blush

• Since then you and your name have been on his mind almost 24/7

 • Now of course I'm not going to make this some cliché "love at first sight" headcanons. No. . .I only do that sometimes, and today is not that day.

• It takes Draco three years to discover his feelings towards you, because he completely disregarded how he thought you were cute the first time he met you, and now he's coming back during fourth year thinking that exact same thing except holy fuck--

• You're kind of really hot now too

• And you have muscles (just deal with it)

• And Draco is really weak for you but it still a bratty little bitch, so he doesn't like it when girls and guys alike are drooling over you when you're strolling down to the field in your quidditch uniform
