Les' best friend, Dee, just got rejected by the love of her life. According to the guy, ayaw niya sa babaeng conservative, hindi aggressive, underdog, weak, boring at manang katulad ni Dee. Now, Dee's convinced that love is all about how you look. Les tried to convince her otherwise but she's too broken to be swayed. Despite Les' abhorrence towards love, she doesn't want her best friend to end up with a broken esteem. I bobbed my head left and right while swaying my hips side by side. Both of my arms are raised above my head. I made sure that my every move matches the beat.

This? This is life. Party with my girls, booze, and of course, hindi mawawala ang diverse choice of drop dead gorgeous guys to dance with. Sabi nga nila, live fast—die young. I grinned to myself.The hand that was carefully placed on my waist began to slide down to my butt and it made me smirk. Ipinikit ko na lang ang mata ko at ipinagpatuloy ang pagsayaw. I made sure to grind my ass against the crotch that was right behind me. Hindi ko naman kasalanan na sumasayaw siya sa likuran ko. I snickered. I was a tease. I know that. My mother says that I got it from her and I have nothing against that.

I love being an exact replica of my mom. Kung si Avis na older sister ko ay isang daddy's girl—I'm a certified mommy's girl naman. Avis is more like my dad—she is cold, intense, and just really plain boring. Buti na lang ako, mana kay mommy. I'm hot, exciting, witty, and very fun to be with.

A hot breath lingered on my neck that made me close my eyes. His lips were already on my neck when something vibrated on my chest. I quickly flung my eyes open, snapping out of my current state to focus on my vibrating chest. Bakit nagva-vibrate yung dibdib ko? Then I remembered placing my phone in my bra.

I walked away from the guy who was fondling me while attempting to get my phone from my brassiere. Two girls saw me slipping my hand on my tube hugging dress and they really looked disgusted. I stopped from my track and looked at them with a wicked grin. I squeezed my boob with my seductive face without losing eye contact. My grin got even bigger when I witnessed how their eyes widened and their jaws dropped at what I did. I slowly raised the hand that was inside my dress and made sure that the girls could see the phone that I was holding.

Napasara ang bibig nila at napataas naman ang kilay ko. Kahit madilim ay alam ko na namumula sila kaya hindi ko mapigilan ang mapatawa.

Umiling-iling na lang ako at dumeretso sa restroom para masagot ang tawag.

"Yes, mybestestfriendinthewholewideworld?" I was grinning widely at my own reflection. Hinawi ko ang dulo ng buhok ko at napabuntong hininga na lang sa kagandahan ko. Ilang beses ko na nakikita sarili ko sa salamin pero hindi ko pa rin maiwasan mamangha. Ang ganda-ganda ko.

My thoughts were halted when I heard a sniff from the other line. The upward curve on my lips disappeared and I was instantly worried for Dee. "Les," I heard her attempt to stop herself from sobbing pero mas lalo siyang naiyak nung nagsalita na siya.
