I havn't left my room since I found out about my dad. He used to always be around when I was a kid. That was until he got that stupid job 3 years ago and was always on business trips. Whenever he was around, him and my mom would be fighting cause she got mad that he was never around anymore. I loved my dad, but now he's gone. It's currently Monday morning, Jackson and I supposedly leave tomorrow for the event in North Carolina. After what happened I'm contimplating wheather I should actually go or not. I would love to go with Jackson and hang and spend the next week with him. But I also want to be here for my mom. She's been quiet ever since the call. When I do come out of my room for food or to use the bathroom, I see her on the couch watching something with a bottle of beer or a glass of wine by her. I decided to stay home from school today. I wanted to go, but I just couldn't. With everything going on I just needed a lazy day. Jackson said he would bring my homework for me, for the next week while were gone. I still haven't told him about my dad. He thinks everything is alright. But it's not. I sighed and got up off my bed. It was currently 12:04 PM. I still haven't eaten lunch so I decided to go get something to eat. As I made my way downstairs, I once again saw my mom on the couch. Passed out, with a glass of wine in her hand. I sighed and walked up to her, gently taking the glass away from her hand. She began to stir in her sleep and soon woke up as I tried to adjust the couch around her. "Oh sorry I didn't mean to wake you, you just fell asleep on th-" I began but she cut me off. "It's fine dear, have fun on your trip." She said, before closing her eyes once again. I shook my head and made my way to the kitchen. I grabbed a piece of fruit and took one bite before getting a water. I walked upstairs, and finsihed my food before walking into my room and sighing. I decided to post on Instagram because I haven't in a while.

As I read the comments I couldn't help but notice how many people thought we were so called "family goals" or "a perfect family" I frowned at most of those comments. I did love my momma, but life isn't the same anymore. I sighed and looked at the time. 1:02 PM. I shurugged and turned over, setting my phone on my nightstand. I turned off my lights and closed my eyes, taking a quick nap so I wouldn't be tired when Jackson and I has to wake up at 6:00 AM tomorrow for North Carolina. As I began to feel sleep take over I thought of one thing. WhatifIsuprisePayton?
