ALY'S POV

Payton and I stopped riding rides for a little bit to get a snack. We fixed on just getting a funnel cake, better known as an elephant ear.
We were now sitting at a table eating it whike talking to eachother.
This is all I wanted. This.
Us. Together, talking and getting to know each other better and better.
"Soo.." Payton said looking around.
"You miss her don't you." I said looking down. I'm trying to be supportive right now but all I want is Payton.
"Yeah." He said looking down.
"I hope she's ok." He sighed. I nodded understandingly.
"I'm sure she is." I said. He looked up at me and smiled.
"Thankyou Aly." He said.
"For what?" I asked.
"Everything." He said taking my hand and Intertwining our fingers for a few seconds before pulling away. I nodded.
"Your welcome Payton." I said looking down.

It's working.
Payton and I are so much closer now.
He trusts me. Nothing can ruin this.
Everything is falling in place.

I was looking around when my phone buzzed. I opened it and read the message from Riley.

It's working.
Your plan is working.

What happened?

Jackson just admitted he liked me.. and

I smiled in Victory. It's all according to plan. 15 minutes and it'll all be over.
"What are you smiling at?" Payton asked eyeing me suspiciously. I opened mouth but nothing came out.
"Oh um.." I stopped for a second and just looked at him.
"I'm just happy we get to hang out." I said smiling.
"I've missed you." I said, meaning every word. He smiled back.
"I've missed you too Aly."
