-Chapter 37-

AVA'S POV

Payton and I laughed as the movie finished and began the credit scene. I smiled one last time before looking up at Payton and smiling.
"Hey." I said, pecking his nose.
"Hey." He replied, smiling and letting out a chuckle.
"What do you wanna do now?" I asked, playing with a loose strand of hair.
"Well we cou-" he was cut off by the ringing of my phone. I groaned and looked up at him apologetically before reaching for my phone and answering the call.
"Hello?" I asked not even bothering to ask who it was.
"AVA!!" someone yelled causing me to retract the phone from beside my ear for a second.
"Uh yas.. who's this?" I asked looking at Payton's cute and confused face. I chuckled softly and shurgged.
"It's chase you idiot!" I heard laughing on the other line. The mention of chases name made me smile. We were really close friends. But we never had the chance to talk. He was usually with his 'girlfriend' Cythinia or just busy. I honestly missed him and I talking. I also very muched missed Dylan. And Mychael. I've talked to Dyalan recently actually. The day before i left for North Carolina I actually had a very long phone call with him. He's always been there for me and I loved it. Chase and I text quite often but never talk on the phone, which surprised me.
"Chase!!" I said smiling wide as I answered him.
"Ava!!" He repeated laughing, causing me to giggle.
"What's up?" I asked, now playing with another piece of Paytons hair.
"Ohhh nothinggg.. except.. U DIDNT TELL ME YOU AND PAYTON WERE DATING!!" He said screaming the last part. I opened my mouth wide.
" I thought u knew!! Didn't Payton tell u?" I said looking up at him. Payton only smiled at me before getting up and running in the bathroomm I let out a small chuckle as chase continued.
"Uh no. He didn't. I figured u guys we close and I knew you were visiting him, cause like Jackson told me the secret plan and blah blah blah, so I was like aww go get your girl cause ya know you 2 would be cute together. And then all the sudden Payton post a pic and says your dating. So I tried to stay calm and be like aww you got yourself a good girl there cause ya know your really nice but like I'm internally screaming and I finally gained enough courage to come here and talk at you!" He said letting out long breathes.
"Jeez." I said laughing.
"Yas! Now. Tell me all the tea." He said. I let out a chuckle and began to tell him EVERYTHING. from when Payton asked me out to right now. I knew Payton could hear me and I could practically see his smirk. I actually thought chase knew we were dating. It's been almost a month since Payton asked me to be his girlfriend. This made me smile as I continued to tell chase everything.

I sighed as chase ended the call. We were both on the phone for an a hour. About halfway through we switched to FaceTime and talked about other stuff. Payton said hi acouple times but other than that he was on his phone.
Him and I were both now sitting on the couch downstairs just laughing and talking, when the door burst opened.
Both of us sat up startled and looked over to see jackson.
"Jackson?" I asked looking up at him. He was smiling like an idiot, which very much scared me.
"Guess what.." he said walking closer to the 2 of us sprawled along the couch.
"What?"

PAYTON'S POV

I smiled as Ava began to explain everything to chase. I loved hearing her talk about everything we've done. I knew chase didn't know, infact Dylan and mychael don't know either. Ava thought I was gonna tell them but I didn't. I wanted to surprise them and by the tone of chases voice I knew he was suprised.

I walked out of the bathroom and saw that chase was now I'm FaceTime. I peeked my head in and smiled at chase who smiled back.
"Payton!" He laughed.
"Hey chase." I said smiling more.
Him and Ava talked some more about random things as I went on my phone and scrolled through insta. As I was scrolling an all to familiar person came up.

I glared down at my phone and shook my head. Jackson is with Aly. Like I've said we were great friends. Of course I started to talk to Ava and Aly and I kinda just lost touched. She never was that nice tho. She was very clingy whenever we hung out and was never cool with other people talking to me.
If a fan wanted a picture she would never allow it. Saying things like 'sorry he's busy' or 'he can't right now' and then drag me away. It always bugged me. And now her and Jackson are hanging out? I silently cursed under my breath and set my phone down.

Ava and I were laying on my couch in the living room just talking. We were both laughing when the door opened, scaring both us in the process. We looked up to see a smiley Jackson. I glared at him and I noticed Ava was giving him a confused look.
"Jackson?" She spoke softly looking at him weirdly while I continued to glare.
"Guess what.." he said walking closer to us, ignoring the face I was giving him. I pulled Ava a little closer to me as we questioned him.
"What?"
