-chapter 17-

AVA'S POV

A single tear fell down my cheek as we got out of the car, pulling up to the airport. Today chase, Dylan, mychael and Payton are leaving to go home. I'm gonna miss all of them. Over the last week I have grown a close bond with all of them.
Dylan is like my best friend in the whole world. (Besides Payton of course.) I always go to him when I'm having boy toruble or if I'm just lonely.
Chase is like my brother from another mother. We have so much in common. We both love music, were both crazy when it comes to food and we both love fashion. He's always there for me and I love him so much for that.
Mychael and I aren't the best of friends but we have had our moments. Yesterday when we woke up we decided to prank the boys and sprayed shaving cream and silly string all over them. They got mad and made us clean up the mess.
Then there's Payton. He's my best friend in the whole world. He's always there for me and we have grown so close. Some people say we're inseparable. We have our moments and I love them. The boys make jokes about us dating all the time. And sometimes I wish they were true. I love Payton so much. I'm gonna miss him and the boys. But for sure him the most.

The boys and I thanked the Uber and walked in the airport. Payton's arm snaked around my waist, bringing me closer to him. He kissed my forehead as we walked to there gate.
After we finished going through security we all stood there by mychael's gate. Hes the first to leave. He hugged all the boys and the got to me. I smiled and hugged him tight. As soon as we pulled apart, his plane started boarding and he walked away to board, waving back at all of us.
Next was dyaln and chase. They were both going to chases house for a bit to hang out.
I hugged chase tightly as they called his plane.
"I love u bro!" I smiled big. He smiled back.
"Love ya little sis!" He kissed my forehead and soon turned waiting for dylan. When dyaln came up to me he let a couple tears fall before dragging me into a big hug
"I'm gonna miss u so much! Call and text and FaceTime me whenever u can! God write a letter, i don't care as long as we're talking." I giggled and nodded.
"Of course I will! I love you Dylan"
He shook his head and pulled away.
"love you to Ava" he hugged me once more before pulling away and walking with Chase onto there plans. That left me, Jackson and Payton. I let a single tear fall as we started walking to Payton's gate.
I'm gonna miss him so much.

When we got to Payton's gate he smiled at us. I shook my head and looked down as him and jackson hugged eachother. They talked for a moment in a quiet whisper before they pulled apart and Jackson stept to the side, letting Payton come to me. As he walked up to me, I began to cry even more. He seemed to notice cause he immediately wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into a hug. I hugged him back and cried into his chest.
"Please don't l-leave me." I chocked out. I could feel a couple tears fall on my head, from Payton.
"I'm s-sorry Ava." He said, pulling me closer.
"P-payton" I cried.
"What?" He asked, stroking his hands through my hair.
"I l-love you" I whispered into his chest. I felt him tense up and I immediately regretted saying that. He probably thinks I love him. Which I do. But I can't let him know that. He only likes me as a friend.
"I'm sorry forget I said that." I breathed out. He shook his head.
"No, I love you to Ava. With all my heart. You may think of me just as a friend but I want to be more. Ava I love you so much." He said crying and kissing the top of my head. This only made me cry harder.
"I love you more Payton. With all my heart." We both stayed in that position for a while, hugging and taking in eachothers scents. The silence was soon broken by a question that will change my life forever.
"Ava.. will you be my girlfriend?"
